Since March 2013 I have had two complete W8 reinstallations, five refreshes, and one other where I removed Office 10 and Microsoft operational files and fed them back into the System.

There is nothing wrong with my computer I have checked it thoroughly.

 

Yesterday I was up and running at 8:30am until 3:47am then my apps stopped working and e-mailing was difficult.

 

 

Stopped Working 4/08/2013 between 3:47pm and 8:14pm> shutdown and broken since.

 

Apps stopped working the lot. If I clicked on Store it would vanish etc.

It seems I do not have worry about hackers, for instance, all my Apps have bolted through a gateway and are staring at me through the fence. No, it is the opposite; Security has incarcerated me in Gulag W8 and will not let me join in the fun.

 

Again, after a bit of eyebrow scratching and staring at a clock face for about ten minutes I know what happened.

 

Over the past five months my computer has had crashes in between downloading games into my “Games” folder. In the games reality world you cannot be anonymous you have to have an alter ego; I first received a nominated name of e..yballoon. and under that non de plume deposited (AUS)$16 in the Microsoft toy box, a few skid marks later I am rebirthed and downgraded under the name Grubbi….. and this is where the problem arose -I made a perfectly logical mistake.

 

Yesterday, I decided to buy some ammo for a game, Microsoft warned “This transaction must be proceeded with once started”. I was required to divulge my name and address and banking details which I processed—I thought.

 

When I divulged an identical set of details under a different gaming name I once again became an outcast and all contact with my M applications were prohibited—MS thought I was a crook.

 

This morning I checked my User Profiles (very sluggish opening): DEFAULT PROFILE 1.36MB Local 3/… …(me) \John 187.GB Local4/ (I am still there)

I am a desktop support person for a large company.  We have a contract supporting Microsoft in Redmond, WA.  One of our managers has an email account for which he goes to https://outlook.com/microsoft.com, enters his domain, username, and password, and should get to his Inbox, but it doesn't work.  After entering his logon credentials, he is taken to https://outlook.office365.com/owa and gets the error: Internet Explorer can't display the webpage.  Once the error has been received, he can't get back to the logon screen without going into Internet Options, Advanced tab, and completely resetting the browser.  After that, however, when he attempts to logon, he'll get "can't display the webpage" again.

On a couple attempts, the browser took him to https://www.outlook.com/owa/?wa=wsignin1.0 where it displays a long error that starts with, "Microsoft.Exchange.Clients.Security.LiveTransientHRESULTException: LiveId authentication code has returned error 0x80049234 PP_E_RPS_REASON_POST_TICKET_TIMEWINDOW_EXPIRED, indicating that there's a temporary problem with the remote server."

I hope someone can explain what might be causing this and how we might resolve.  Thanks,

I have been struggling with the plagues of microsoft authentification automated services in order to get back in my account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I created it in the 90s, it has all my life and current business yet microsoft shamelessly wants me to create another box. 

I tried the pass reset and a bunch of forums and phone calls.

When I created that mailbox I gave bogus personal info as not to be spied on, thus the automated identification fails: wrong phone, birthdate and abreviated name. It would be very easy to verify over the phone the content of my box it someone was willing to take the matter into hands: 310 666 1110.

Please pass this onto a manager or the manager's manager, thx

After hours of work, SkyDrive does not sync.

 

I've reinstalled it completely many times.

I've applied all known Windows updates.

I've emptied my SkyDrive multiple times and gotten all my docs in SkyDrive.

I've restarted my computer.

I've restarted SkyDrive.

I've forwarded log files to Microsoft.

I've done everything recommended by Microsoft except making changes to the registry. 

 

SkyDrive won't sync existing or new files. 

 

 

Hi, I am using my wife's Hotmail account as mine has been hacked. I have tried too convince Microsoft that it is mine via the question form (on this site i believe) but did not satisfy them. I expect the main reason is that i cannot supply enough recent Subject Headings and Email address's. Truth is I do not correspond very much by email anymore as I mainly use text messages on my iPhone or contact my friends via face book. (I AM NOT ALONE, MOST OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW DO NOT USE EMAIL ANYMORE TO CONTACT FRIENDS) The only USE i have for my email account is for receiving messages from my internet provider ii net, Billing, face book, Vodafone, forums i have joined, fox tell, papal, E bay, Gumtree, autobodyworks, net bank and others which inform me of bills that are due or of updates. These do not require me to reply. So how do i prove that my email account is mine?????

I have had this account for years and I know I should have made a backup but i am not that tech savvy being in my 60's. Still, i suppose age has no bearing on this but it is a GENUINE EXCUSE.

So HOW can I satisfy your security (which I understand fully and agree with) so as to reinstate my email account.

My email id *** Email address is removed for privacy *** got compromised and hacked. People who did this, also changed my alternate email id and phone number where I could have retrieved my id / password and now I cannot access my account. I am in touch with Microsoft and hopefully will get this sorted. But no assurance from their side. I have tried all possible links to reset password, chat, call Microsoft but it seems no one has a solution yet or can send a reset link

 

This is a genuine case and this account id was with me for past 25 years. All my business, registered and important sites where my id was registered are lost. I cannot even pay my bills as I used to get notification on this id

 

What a struggle
