Every so often Microsoft.com makes me go through a verification procedure via e-mail.  The problem is that it sends me email in Chinese or Japanese characters which I cannot understand.  How do I get Microsoft to e-mail me in English?
I was told that my ad free account was due for renewal a couple of months ago, I decided not to renew and went through the jumping of hoops process to make sure I would not  have money taken from my account as I no longer required this service. I received an e mail to confirm that I would not be subscribed to this service any longer and that payment would not be taken. Two days ago I looked at my card statement and found that payment had been taken and I was still subscribed to this ad free service. I have tried to contact billing and payments only to be fobbed off to other departments all over Asia, when I finally managed to get to the right person the line was so bad that I could not hear what was being said and they could not hear me !!.These calls have been costing me money all the time and even when I got through to complaints they kept me hanging on and then dropped the call on me .This happened to me last year also so I let it go having thought that a renewal was not possible again as my credit card details held by Microsoft were now invalid as this card had now expired and could not be used. To my horror I find that somehow Microsoft have gained access to another of my cards without permission and have used that for payment !.I would like some explanation on this matter please as I feel I have been cheated by Microsoft and that as far as I am concerned an illegal charge has been made and if this is not resolved I will be reporting it to the authorities as theft !!.I sincerely hope that a Microsoft moderator sees this post and will act on it accordingly.
Dated back on 10 August 2013, I have my Windows Live Mail creating duplicated folders on my laptop. When I removed the duplicated folders, all the mails inside the original folders were empty due to unknown issue.

I read the FAQ here but it does not work to recover the mail from the folders.

On 13 August I have contact Microsoft and talked to Nicholas on Aug 13, 2013 11:15:15 AM EST, which he referred to contact my regional Microsoft subsidiary.

The following day, I called up Microsoft Singapore to seek solution with Magaret Hansen. He provided me with the solution here, but it doesn't work out too. In the end, he requested me to post my question and request over here on 15 August 2013. I need to recover the mail as my insurance claim evidence related mail has been deleted and it need to be recovered to file my insurance claim.

Thank you for the kind assistance.

Has Microsoft or, perhaps more appropriately, "will" Microsoft provide support for OWA Exchange sync to Outlook.com? I use only Microsoft services for my back end (Outlook, Alias, SkyDrive, and soon to be Office365), though I still enjoy my Mac desktop. What I find annoying is the reluctance or unwillingness to open up access so that  Mac Mail/Contacts/Calendar, can sync with Outlook.com without some exotic type of method.

Does anyone know if/when/will this be provided, or perhaps an easier method? At this point, I may end up using Gmail as a proxy for their Card/CalDav support, and sync back into Outlook.com, thereby gaining access for Mac's desktop applications.

Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated :)

Microsoft sent me a receipt to an address other than the one I had registered with my order.  They sent it to my address with the @ replaced by a % then an @passport.com extension.  Did they just create that account?  How do I access it?  I have tried several ways to do it but without success.
I'm running Windows 8.1 Beta, and my SkyDrive folder is no longer working. I am unable to update or download files from this computer, however my other computers are working fine, and I can access SkyDrive through the web site on this computer. So basically, both the SkyDrive Windows Store app and the SkyDrive folder are not functioning on this computer, and since they're built in to 8.1, I can't uninstall or reset them.

I've already dealt with Microsoft support over an account issue I was having with Bing, and the problem was determined to have been because I'm using a VPN, so my account was blocked due to the large number of different connections. The Bing team was able to simply reactivate my (rewards) account. So, I assume this is a similar issue.

I checked the outgoing connections in Fiddler, and here's what appears to be notable. When I attempt to download a file from the SkyDrive folder, this is the outgoing request:

If I try to use the SkyDrive Windows Store app, I get a message saying "To connect to your SkyDrive, you need to go to PC settings and update Windows." (http://i.imgur.com/xG7z40I.png) If I click "Go to PC Settings", it brings me to the Windows Update section and it says there are no available updates.

I submitted a ticket yesterday on the page for suspended accounts, but they replied saying "We have received a recent request to reactivate your account, however, when we checked we noticed that your account does not appear to be closed. We have also reexamined the content and have determined that the files are not in violation of the Microsoft COC or TOU. If you are still unable to access the account there may be a technical issue with it. You can contact the technical support team at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us"

I have a Microsoft account that is blocked that I cant get reset. I have been trying to resolve this for over 6 months. I have done multiple password resets, sms live code reset, filled out every form possible, contacted customer support at least 10 times, I have contacted Microsoft several times, all with no help. I have received back emails telling me my account has been verified and links to reset have been sent. Every time I do these steps it brings me back to account sign in and then a message telling me my account is blocked. I really need someone to take a real look at this account and tell me how to recover this account. I have been told there is nothing wrong with this account on one of the responses but yet am still unable to log in and use my Microsoft live account. I have spent several months trying to resolve this I would please like some serious assistance. The account that is blocked is under a different email and would be happy to supply you with that information as well as any more you need to get this resolved. Please let me know how to supply you with this info as I do not want to make my private information public. Please help me solve this issue I have done everything asked of me to fix this issue.
All,

It is 08/21/13 and I have tried to obtain support from Microsoft using the phone number in my Outlook for Mac 2011 ((866) 474-4882 ).  The first attempt was at 1135am EDT only to have Reden hang up on me after two minutes on the phone.  When I called back at 1138am EDT to speak with support I was connect with Cheryl.  Cheryl took my contact information, phone and email, along with my product ID.  Shen then placed me on hold for 20 minutes and never came back on the line.

This approach to support, or lack there of, is infuriating.  If anyone has cracked the code on how to get Microsoft to actually support their products please share.  All products are licensed and fully covered by support.  All we need now is Microsoft to step up and perform their role.

Thank you.
