Hi,

Can someone help me please! I had the Microsoft security provide another email address/telephone number message while trying to access my emails for the last few weeks. Ive been avoiding it and now today it wouldn't let me access my emails unless i did do it. So i did. They first asked me if a certain email address was mine and to click next if it was. Well it wasn't one of my email address's so i clicked on no it wasn't! They then asked me to provide one that was - so i did. I clicked on next and they said they sent me a security code to the email i provided. I got the code and filled in the box! I could then access my emails and everything was fine!
Now ive got someone from the email address that Microsoft asked me was it mine and i said no at the beginning of the security message. Apparently Microsoft have told them that im trying to hack their email account and change their passwords! To say im confused is a BIG understatement!!! Ive done nothing wrong what so ever!! I haven't even emailed this person back because i thought it could be a scam or something! Can someone advise me on what to do next please?

Many Thanks

Hi Microsoft Experts,

So I work in a government school, and I've been informed that we had a hotmail account that the school was using as

their apple ID email. However when I try to perform a password reset on outlook.com, it says the account is invalid.

So I'm wondering whether it's been deleted, or if its still active, and if it is, what the process is on getting back into it.

It hasn't been used in quite some time and has change hands quite a few times, so I'm unaware of the password/reovery creds.

All help appreciated.

I have wasted 5-6 hours today trying to activate my daughters Windows 8 phone so that she can add new apps.

When I try to download an app on the phone it tells me that I must provide adult verification by logging in using an adult account, but all day when I get to the 'Verify that you are an adult' page, it reports the following error:

Verify that you're an adult

When you verify your age with a credit card, Microsoft charges the card a one-time fee of $0.50 (50 cents), and a portion of the fee is donated to charity.

This is ludicrous, I just want my daughter to be able to use her phone safely, and a giant such as Microsoft is unable to provide a service reliable enough to handle the age verification process.

I could just lie about my daughters age, create a new Live account and get her full phone access, but this is hardly the point!!

Can someone tell me what is going on or have I just thrown money down the drain buying a Windows 8 phone?
When I launch Skydrive live com with my Dell XPS322X (Windows 7 Professional) it says This Page Can't be Displayed.  Please advise.  I do have a working Microsoft account.  This computer has a Skydrive directory.  I have no problem on a different computer that runs Windows NT5.1.  The Internet security settings for TLS and SSL are set exactly the same on the two computers.  The Dell with the problem has Microsoft Office which does not include Outlook.  Please advise.  Thanks!
Hotmail problems i was locked out of my account due to someone else using my  account. I filled in  the form and made a mistake by telling Microsoft to send the reply back to a hotmail account that ends with a .com instead of a .co.uk

Hi,

My hotmail.com account has been migrated to outlook.com and I seem to have lost ALL of my emails and folders.

All I have is one email from Microsoft welcoming me to my new Outlook inbox.

How can I recover these emails/folders and how do I contact Microsoft so report this?

Many thanks in advance

I've had a MSN / Hotmail Account since 2003, and Never have I / WE ever needed to provide Phone numbers then, and I see NO Reason Why we need to submit one Now either !!!! I Dunno' who the Dumb **** Bozo' is up that at Microsoft/ MSN / Outlook Who thinks this is such a good idea, because its NOT, and i'm quite sure many others Will NOT be happy about having to Submit their personel phone numbers to you to keep their EMail accounts active ! I myself will "NOT" be submitting my Phone number to MSN / Outllook at all ever ! If it means I lose my EMail account I've had since 2003 , than so be it, I'm Fed Up with Microsoft and their Pathetic Games, as I'm sure many others are too , as you'll soon find out, when Millions upon Millions cancel their Accounts with you ASAP ! Also, I dunno' who the Idiot moron is that thought this OUTLOOK Express Email was such a great idea - but since its changed over to OUTLOOK - its totally SUCKS !!! Nobody ever really liked that Stupid program OUTLOOK Express anyway, that's why it was seldom used to begin with, why you let some dimwit Bozo' bring it back and FORCE us users to have it is beyond comprehension !! Microsoft is really truly starting to Suck, your ideas, your Products, as well as your Idealogy and attitude with the many millions of users who made Microsoft what it is today. Should Microsoft Force me to submit a phone number just to have an EMail address, it'll never happen,, and I'll "CANCEL" my Email account that I've had since 2003 !!! I don't need Microsofts BS, nor, will I tolerate such BS coming from such Bozo's ! Soon Microsoft will end like MYSPACE , dead in the water, and when that happens good ridence !!!
