I cannot open Windows Live Mail , as this error code comes up .  Windows Live cannot open because of this error code ( 0X00C155.2 )

I cannot remove Microsoft Download Manager as it keeps asking for Administrator password and will not accept it when given ,

the same happened when I tried to remove Microsoft Security Essentials .

I am finding the same happens when I try to remove another programme .

Why is this happening ?

I have had to set up another Administrator account on my computer as it stopped recognising the original one .

I have just had to have a new  C hard drive fitted on my computer , as the manufacturer had fitted a C Drive , that had a serious flaw in it ,

so after starting from basically nothing apart from Windows 7 Home Premium being installed had nearly finished adding everything back ,

for this to happen .

I have searched for this code but cannot find it anywhere .

Whenever i try to log into any Microsoft website i receive this message, it has been going on for around 2 years now. This was never a big deal to me as i don't need to access any of Microsoft's websites. But with the recent update to Xbox live a few weeks ago you now need to enter you password to your account when you log into the first time after the update now. And i get a error message when i try to do this, i had called and talked with the Xbox support team multiple times, and always come out with the same answer. There is nothing they can do, and i need to post here and wait for someone from the live.com staff to fix the issue. Since you have no email support or phone number to call which is rather annoying. So i am posting here on a second account, seeing as i can't log into to my real account online or even on Xbox anymore. So, yea i'm not going to post my real email here, i looked through some other threads with people with the same issue and guess i have to wait to pm a staff member the account in question. So looking forward to hearing from a staff member and getting this issue fixed, since it has been extremely annoying being given the run around with the Xbox staff for the past few weeks to finally here they can't do anything to help me at all, and that i have to post on a forum for help and not call or email someone.
About a month ago, our Hotmail mailbox encountered some type of glitch. In the process of deleting deleted messages, somehow all the messages in all the folders were deleted. The folder structure stayed in tact, but all the messages were deleted. I contacted Microsoft, searched, and have been unable to find anywhere to request a mailbox restore. Any advice, suggestions, or solutions would be greatly appreciated, as a lot of important information was deleted. Thank you.

Is there any possibility that Microsoft can work with me to get OUTLOOK.COM to work with the YSB servers?  I've been unable to use OUTLOOK.COM for my mail sync since something changed as of August 1st.

I do not want to answer useless questions any longer as I have in may other threads on this forum.

I will gladly pay money to Microsoft if you can fix this problem.  Can you provide contact information where I can go to get professional, effective assistance from Microsoft?

Thanks,

P

I got locked out about 6 months ago.  I don't have the credentials for my alternative email and I've filled out the questionaire twice to no avail.  I opened a ticket with Microsoft and they sent me here.  I needed to create another email acct in order to sign in and post.  It's a lot of trouble to go through.  Help?
I received an email from Microsoft saying I requested to change my password (I hadn't). It was sent to my correct email address, but the the request was not from any of my email accounts.

i changed my password & set up 2 step verification. I successfully got this email working again on my smartphone as well.

However, I use Windows Live Mail for all my hotmail/live emails & no matter what I've done, I can't get it to connect to the email with the changed password.
I deleted the account & added it again. I re-installed my Windows Live programs. I've tried to follow the advice on this help section.

In the error message that I get when trying to receive from this email account, it says there is an error, but there is nothing written in the white space that normally has the error info.

Can Microsoft re-set this account?

Thanks!
