I was prompted to download a 2011 Microsoft Office update for my mac OS X 10.6.5. After the download a popup box appeared, saying, "Microsoft Outlook wants to use your confidential information stored in pop-server...etc...in your keychain" with the
options of "Always Allow, Deny and Allow". I checked "Deny"; however, Microsoft won't take "no" for an answer and the same prompt continues to reappear incessantly though I continue to answer "Deny". It's annoying, intrusive and I want it to stop.
Is Microsoft going to correct the issue they have with being unable to sync Outlook for Mac 2011 with the iPhone on an Apple device? If Sync Services will not work what is Microsoft going to do about it? I am getting very tired of the finger pointing and
am getting to the point of having to make a decision - stop using Outlook which will lead to stopping the use of MS office for a multitude of people. We need to be able to sync these iPhones with Outlook but cannot.
We are running the latest Apple OS and iOS as we should be. Will Microsoft correct their problem?
Not a question, just a comment. You have created a monster. which seems to out of control. I keep trying to get to my in-box. which must be the most basic of operations, or at least it used to be, now it is in the lap of that great god that I used to know as Microsoft as to wether a correct connection can be made.
Just as a measure of my frustration with this new system I have made a charity bet with myself that this comment will not reach you. If I'm right, I shall be sending a cheque off in a couple days.
It happend to me as well.
Once you are signed out, DONT go to the biggest login screeen on the right, click on sign in with microsoft account, then you´ll see the option to merge.
Just update to the latest version
What is the latest version? The page you referred to doesn't say. Mine is 6.0.0.120 - does the download give me a newer version? The one I have was installed only a couple of days ago.The version you would get if you were to update now is only a minor version update (6.0.59.120), while it's always best to be on the latest version of Skype you should be able to link your Microsoft and Skype accounts using the version you have installed.merge with your Skype ID as you sign up.
I don't see sign up anywhere. If you have Skype set-up to log-in automatically then you might not have seen the log-in screen which gives you the option to log in with your Microsoft account (and go through the flow of merging your Microsoft and Skype accounts, which is what we refer to as the Sign up flow). To get to the log-in screen please open Skype, press Alt+S and click on Sign Out on the menu that appears. Then follow these steps to log in with your Microsoft account: https://support.skype.com/faq/FA12081Sorry, I don't understand a word of this. What are my personal accounts? Or my professional ones? And again, what is the sign up flow? This point is just to help users who have separate Skype and/or Microsoft accounts for professional and personal use. If you only have one Skype and one Microsoft account then you can just merge those two and ignore this message. If I misunderstood the issues you are seeing then please let me know and I'll do my best to help you further.
So I upgraded to the Microsoft for Mac last night and was able to transfer everything over from my Microsoft Entourage. Everything went great could get into the program easily. Went to try today and check my email and I am getting an error message saying
I do not have sufficient permissions to access the files and now I can not get into my Outlook, this is a pain......
I purchased Office for my new MacBook. The Excel, Powerpoint, and Word applications were installed without a problem, but when I try log in to Outlook it won't let me. It requires me to sign in with an existing account (my email doesn't work for some reason,
though I have Microsoft for my email too and the username/passwords are correct) or enter my product key (which doesn't work either, though I entered it correctly). Any suggestions?
