I signed up for the 9.99 monthy charge to download Microsoft 365 only to find out later that the program can not be used with my Vista.

How do I cancel this subscription? I have searched everywhere and can not find anything.

Thanks so much for your helping me.

As of now, Outlook.com doesn't support grouping based on subject. This is a deal breaking issue for me, as I want to switch from Google to Microsoft. Like, complete switch of services and software.

This is how it looks in Outlook.com:

And this is how it looks in Gmail:

So, how can I change it to look like Gmail? Please note that using standalone software to manage e-mails is not an option.

Today I booted up my computer and opened Microsoft Office. I use Office daily as I'm a writer and I also send correspondence to newspapers.

I opened a Word file to do some revision and receive this message, "word could not create the work file. Check the temp environment variables".

I closed Office and checked my Log Files: a continuation of errors, Ntfs, Volsnap, VSS, Net Runtime?

I then opened the action Centre white flag there was one problem listed " Windows needs to scan your computer from possible threats"

I clicked on the Microsoft shield to find out the scan operation had been "locked"?

OK, I then went Windows Defender and found everything normal "green background with a white tick.

Clicked on Scan, halfway through, a scan a message "Windows Defender could not scan your PC. Clear History!

I then checked the boxes, Quarantined items, Allowed Items, and All detected items--they were all blank? No history to clear.

Next to Firewall, same green background with a white tick and yes I was connected to the internet.

Then off to System Restore: last backup date 22/07/2013. Set System Restore in motion.

Messaged received: "cannot restore files some files corrupted".

So, I checked my Registry, no files are corrupted.

So back into Windows Office opened a file and tried to print out the correspondence; Windows would not allow the process. OK, I managed to copy the correspondence and send the correspondence to a newspaper via Outlook. At this stage I do not no whether I have been successful.

Next I turned to my Apps and found out that Windows thought I was a spy!

I tried to open the Windows Solitaire App and found myself under scrutiny: " Who are you? To prove you are legit enter your password".

I did this and was allowed to play.

Then I went to my e-mail account and to my amazement discovered this message: "Your are currently signed in an Office 365 e-mail account canot be used with Outlook. com.

Well that news to me there is no Outlook 365 on my hard drives.

The upshot, I cannot use any of my Office 2010 files, I cannot use my printer, I cannot download from the internet (my internet defaults to Excel)

There was nothing wrong with my computer yesterday evening my hard drive was humming along beautifully.

Do you know what my next step is? In order to restore my Office files I will have to "refresh" my files and wipe my hard drive clean of any files that are non-Microsoft.

This has happened five times since April.

Not impressed, a certain brand of fruit is looking inviting.

I would like to know if the mobile Outlook mobile app that can be found on google play is compatible with Sharepoint exchange?

I do not want to try without being sure, as I would be afraid to lose my data or mess it up.

I have tried online and by fax, as instructed in other Microsoft Community posts, to complete Windows Live Age Verification in order to grant Parental Authorization to my son for his use of all Microsoft services on his new laptop.  I received error messages in my attempts online and read the posts that there is no fix for the issue.  I then sent a fax as instructed, got confirmation it went through, but received no response.  Please help me as soon as possible.  My son is most excited to begin full use of his computer.

Many thanks.
So my Xbox live account was suspended over a year ago, and I didn't start using it again until one month ago, and I made Microsoft point purchases with no problem, but now I can't. Whenever I try to purchase Microsoft points, I get an error message of to try again later. I even went to go buy the prepaid Microsoft points, and I put in the code, and it said that it had added 2400 Microsoft points to my account, which I thought really worked, and then when I went to go check my balance of Microsoft points, it says I have "0" Microsoft points. I even tried putting the code in again to see if it didn't go through and it tells me "This code has already been used." I thought I would have had the Microsoft points, but it didn't even add them, so now I can't use my card or any payment method to purchase Microsoft points, and even when I purchase a Microsoft points prepaid card, it tells me it added, but didn't. I want to know why I'm not allowed to purchase Microsoft points in any way.

Kosh, you responded quickly to my previous post today but got it all wrong.

You sent this question to Office and accounts and aliases question and it has NOTHING to do with this.  It is about gettting access to a new account I set up---in anyway.  Here was the post. THe first part is from another user that I was following.  the last paragraph is MINE.  That link does not help at all. I have no way of getting into my account!  I cannot reset password, "I Can't use any of these options" page does not work for me either. I need help from Microsoft.

Cannot access my account

I have seen this post below and the link does not help at all. So as far as having a priviate chat I don't know how:

I have a new account that I tried getting support from the Windows Live Team and they set me here to the MODERATOR. I cannot access this new account going through the password reset or "I Can't use any of these options" page----I have a lot of information for that reset, but not enough I guess. Looking fo help with mm gaining access to this account!

Hello Microsoft,

I have an issue related with my domain's (unitconstruction.sa.com) ownership proving. I already had done  all the settings  and tried since last 2 weeks but my domain's status is still showing Pending DNS configuration. I don't know where is the problem actually?

my domain was added since 2011  but i was not using Microsoft's email service.  but currently i get interest on this that's why i open my domain management after long time and was tried to verify my domain's ownership, but i failed after long tried. even i also  did the delete domain completely and do add from scratch, therefore i got changes in mailbox quota,(before 500 now 50 mailboxes) that's even also no matter. I followed the instructions and already done all to prove, but no result only wasted time of about two weeks.

Please help me to verify my domain and let the status to be Active.

domain name: unitconstruction.sa.com

I also have all the screen shots, in case of need i can attach. but for security reason i don't want to add in public question.
