Whenever I try deleting my email account, it says that first I need to cancel any paid services with Microsoft and then deactivate my hotmail account. So when I go to the link to cancel any paid services with Microsoft, it says that there is no billing information.

How do I delete my account?
Once again this morning I have signed into my Outlook e-mail and have found that I cannot open my e-mails. This is the second time this week I have been unable to access my mail. Can anyone tell me if this will ever be permanently fixed so that Outlook functions as a reliable e-mail program?  I am still wondering why Microsoft pushed and insisted that everyone had to switch to Outlook at the time they had designated.  This program has never been functional in a consistent or reliable manner.  This switch was premature. Outlook was NOT ready for market and still isn't. How can this be resolved permanently so that I have a mail program that does the simple basic thing of working and doing what I need it to do?
Last month I complained about the speed of Outlook.com after I was changed from hotmail.com - after various back and forths and hundreds of messages from Microsoft and other users regarding this issue, it seemed to have been resolved.
But, now it's back!
PLEASE, Microsoft!! - Undo whatever you have just done (I suspect we were routed to the US servers but have now gone back to the European ones) !!

Even this small message has taken several minutes because it's lagging so badly!

Thanks, bartoPL

in Microsoft smart data network the ip address of the mail server is not blocked by is stated as bot like behavior and all our email are sent to spam folder any help please?

Thanks

YESTERDAY when I clicked on Junk I got a split-second view of my Junk folder, then a blank screen.

TODAY when I click on something in my Inbox, I get a blank screen.  Or I get a split-second view of my Inbox, apparently including an answer to yesterday's query, followed by a blank screen.

So now I can't use my email at all.

With all due respect, I don't want to start a discussion:  I want Microsoft to fix the problem.  I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem.  Let's face it:  it's Microsoft's problem too.

Glenda,

I am having the exact same problem as Microsoft's other customers, going around in circles with Microsoft's verify form. I have had my account for over 20 years and obviously things and information has changed. It never occur to me to change the information on my account.

Getting access to regain ones account is very frustrating to say the least. Microsoft has to come up with other means for their customers to retrieve their account (NOT USER FRIENDLY.) I do understand security, but there should be a live person to ask specific information in reference to one's account and have it reset right away. After all, I can call my bank, talk to someone and get access to my information and that is my money not some stupid Hotmail.

I agree with the other response...There is no email or number to talk to someone to give details to verify you as the owner, just the damn form that asks for information that can be changed by the hackers..no ISP of the computer you most use to access your email,... or which browser you regularly use,... no way of sending your ID.

The whole procedure is retarded that the owner is treated like the criminal and the damn hackers get away with it!!!  I keep getting the same email back with the ridiculous solution of "open another account" are you kidding!!!!

I too, need to have a private conversation with you.

Seriously when if ever is this going to be fixed?

Like do you have one legitimate reason for not fixing a problem that has been going on for over a year?

I will do everything in my power to cause Microsoft to lose business. Signing up for hotmail was a horrible idea. I should have known microsoft would just get tired of supporting it and tell everyone to go fvck themselves.
