OS 10.9.1

Outlook - 14.3.9 (131030)

I have spent days on the phone with Microsoft Tech Support over the last couple of weeks tying to get Outlook to work properly.

- Re-Installing Office

- deleting various library and preference files

- deleting emails (8MB+) from my gmail account

- deleting thousands of emails from POP accounts

- Changing Apple ID

All to no avail - and the damn program still crashes?

It was working fine before I updated to Mavericks 10.9.1

Any ideas here as to why or perhaps an idea that we've missed that is a potential solution?

Hi, my hotmail account was hacked into two days ago. He sent out a spam email to all of my contacts asking for money to be wired to Cyprus. Ive tried contacting Microsoft tech support after being unable to pass the surveys for two days. The hacker had changed some of my personal profile information on the first day when I was still able to access the account and had entered a default yahoo account in my profile security section, which was then locked in and I couldn't t change. The tech support team referred me to this forum since I can't pass the surveys. I've had this account for over a decade and would like it back.

Please help me. I have valuable information in this account, and I can prove that it's mine.

When I send out an e mail on my normal e address, the person who REPLIES, does so on my alt address which appears when he presses the REPLY option.

This defeats the purpose of having a seperate alt address. How can I correct this situation?
