Can’t access outlook account

I have an old school account that I still use from time to time. I also use an outlook email for my day to day affairs. I haven't been able to access my old school account for the past few days and really need to.

I get
" This account can't be used to access Outlook.com

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account)"

I'm running out of ideas. I have logged out completely to my day to day account several times and nothing is working.

Hi all,

I want to have an secondary e-mail adress for my Microsoft Account.

But instead of using @outlook.com I want to use my own domain.

So, I signed up to "domains.live.com", and set up my domain for microsoft services.

I can create new e-mail accounts, however I can't add them as secondary e-mail adress for my current microsoft account.

It gives this error: Bu e-posta adresi live.com, hotmail.com veya msn.com gibi ayrılmış bir etki alanına dahil. Lütfen farklı bir e-posta adresi girin.

English version: This e-mail adress is inside a domain like hotmail.com, live.com or msn.com Please type another email adress.

I tried adding secondary e-mail with and without creating new email adress from "domains.live.com"

I also tried changing my primary e-mail adress

It gives this error: Microsoft hesabınızın e-posta adresinde @example.net kullanamazsınız. Lütfen farklı bir e-posta adresi deneyin.

English version: You can't use @example.net in your microsoft account e-mail. Please try different one.

Please help me about this. I need to add this domain to my microsoft account.

microsoft account is locked

when I try to sign into my Microsoft account it has locked me out. i wasn't able to verify normally but i was able verify with the account recovery process. no matter what i do it still gives me the same response. I need help unlocking my account.

I need to remove my security proofs from my account but i cant access my account because it is locked. I believe this is because i did not comply within the 2 week period by updating or verifying my password and email combination.

Since my account has been verified by the account recovery process and i reset my password 3 separate times i have still been locked out of my account. Can someone please help me unlock my account so i can update my security proofs and continue using my account.

I had a 'hotmail.co.uk' account which I no longer able to sign-in to. I am being told that the 'That Microsoft account doesn't exist.'

I would recreate the account but there is no option to create a 'hotmail.co.uk' account. Is there anything I can do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lost e-mails

After syncing my windows phone with my computer I was prompted by Microsoft to enter a new e-mail address and password to sign up for a Microsoft account. I was horrified therefore when I went to sign into my hotmail account that everything had disappeared and I was unable to retrieve any e-mails or contacts that I had previously had.....I have turned off the conversation thread as suggested by someone else in the forum but that has not worked so am now hoping that someone else can help me.....with thanks

Can I merge two Microsoft accounts together?

I'm skeptical whether or not this could happen, but it's worth one final ditch effort.

I use e-mail in Gmail, and want to start using Outlook. Now, I already use a Microsoft account, but it's a custom domain that I've bought. The issue is, I use that same e-mail address as an address that forwards to my Gmail account.

So I use *******@*****.co.uk for Google, but use the same address for Xbox & Skype.

This makes things difficult, because if I want to forward e-mails from my Gmail to my Microsoft account, I need to send it to *******@*****.co.uk!

But this just sends an e-mail to my Gmail inbox!

So I've made an @outlook.com account, which now works with my Gmail, because I can forward to an e-mail address which has a different name to the one I was originally using, but now I have two Microsoft accounts!

My *******@*****.co.uk which I use to log in on Xbox and Skype, and my @outlook.com which is only being used as my new e-mail provider (because it's gathering all the e-mails being forwarded by my previous Gmail account).

Can I get these account merged together? Even if it means losing the @*****.co.uk address for the @outlook.com address?

Difficulty switching from local account to Microsoft account

I can't switch from the local account to the microsoft account. It keeps saying "Sorry, we couldn't connect to Microsoft services right now." I even changed my account but it still is giving the same feedback. There is nothing wrong with my network either. Heeeeeelllllp!!! I'm between a rock and a hard place.

Closing Old Microsoft Account

I am trying to close this Microsoft account. I no longer have access to this email address. When I click close account in the account summary window I am told I need to cancel any subscriptions. When I click Cancel I am taken to the billing page and no subscriptions are listed. I just want to close this account and have been working on it for two months (on and off). It shouldn't be this hard to close an account. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

I currently have two email addresses. For example I will name them *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Prior to outlook.com's creation, I was using the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email as my primary Microsoft account which was linked to my Xbox Live account, Zune Pass account and Windows Phone account. My Microsoft account has grown to now include: Xbox Live Account, Xbox Music Account, Windows Phone Account, SkyDrive account, Windows 8 account and Skype account. I no longer have access to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account on att's website, though I can still log in under my Microsoft account. What I want to be able to use my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email as my primary Microsoft account, but when I go to make the change I get this message: "This email address is part of a reserved domain such as live.com, hotmail.com, or msn.com. Please enter a different email address."

Please provide me with a way to transfer all of my app purchase history, xbox live information and other Microsoft Services to my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email so I can rid myself of the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email. Thank you.
