Not receiving Microsft Account activation email on Office 365 account

Hi,

I have an Office 365 account for email. I've created a Microsoft Account with that email because I can't log into anywhere else with the 365 account so I figured I'd create a Microsoft account for things like Windows 8 log in.

Anyway, when I log into the Microsoft Account, it says I need to activate the email, I click send email, but my 365 emails are not receiving it?

Please help. I enter the wrong password too many times when accessing my outlook.com email *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, now I get "Microsoft account doesn't exist". When I try to use the link "Can't access my account" to try to reset my password, I get "Microsoft account is incorrect". Please help. Thank you

I have been receiveing emails in portugese from someone else who has the same email address as I do. I have been told by MS that this is impossible. well now I have an email from MICROSOFT to prove it.Her it is in portugese and in english (google translate)

A couple of days ago my Hotmail account has been stolen. The hacker used my alternate email (Yahoo) which he/she also hacked to verify ownership. I tried all three options for retrieving my account. The hacker changed the alternate email obviously so I can't use that. I also cannot use the security questions as they too have been changed. I tried filling in the form twice and got an automated email saying "Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership." I filled in recent subjects and emails of recently sent emails and even my account info but with no use. I was able to retrieve my Yahoo account and found an email from Microsoft account team providing the security code 4770230. Also, from the logs on Yahoo I found out that the hacker was accessing my account from Kuwait. My Hotmail account is my Microsoft account. I called the call center in UAE but was informed that I should use this site. For some ridiculous reason I needed to log in to post a question which I cannot do since my account was hacked!! I was forced to create a new account just for the purpose of posting this question. My Skype is also connected with my Microsoft account now after the merging and my laptop is Windows 8 which also uses my Microsoft account. I have searched through the other questions but all of the answers ask that I do what all I already have done (alternate email, security questions, and form). Therefore I request a solution to this problem as soon as possible.

I have received an email from Microsoft Account Team, thanking me for verifying my Microsoft account and giving me a code number. The problem is that the address shown was not mine but my grandson's! I contacted him but he has no idea what happened. He lives 200 miles away and never uses my computer.

I have changed my password anyway but would like to know how this occurred.
