I've been able to send and receive email messages without problems since I started using Windows Live Mail over a year ago. However, when trying to send one message a couple days ago, the send message task failed and I received an error message saying it was unable to send this one specific email message because "the setting for your outgoing email [SMTP] server might need to be configured." "Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC79". No changes have been made to any of my previous settings, including server authentication. I'm able to send & receive all other messages. This message errors out every time I send/receive mail. How can I remove this error message and/or stop trying to send this email message when I send/receive messages?

it says Calendar contains corrupt data. The program won't open and uninstalling it and reinstalling does not help. Suggestions please.

Is hotmail on the way out? Right now I am having quite a time with a conflict with hotmail and Windows Live Msgr. fighting each other. If I access my hotmail account, I get the message "WLM encountered a problem and needs to shut down". Was reading
about someone shutting down hotmail for the , yes, "new and improved" something.
Is there a fix? Do I need to set up another email account? How do I let all the people in my address book know? What a mess it will cause!!
Say it ain;t so, Joe. Don't take my hotmail away. How about just a fix and quit giving me new stuff. I am old and fear change..
So I can search all mail and find a message. How can I find out which mailbox that message is in?

When I open messenger, there is no problem, but it shows there is a message in my inbox, when I open my inbox, it logs out messenger - I notice that at the top right corner of the messenger panel there 'appears' to be one mail but there is not! How can
I clear this error?

I access my virgin media e'mails through Windows Live Mail.
I am not able to delete these messages (and some of them are spam)
Message is saying IMAP{ provider is not allowing me to delete them.
I have over 10000 messages which are undeletable.
Virgin Media will only help if they are accessed through Outlook express

Why telling me that you will cancel my Hotmail account, since I've paid for the whole year... and asking me for my password ... and other mail account with password as well!!! This seems to be an officila Microsoft message. And my account is not inactive
(I use it daily).
