Outlook 2011 for Mac _Exchange Mail trouble – no in-box mail.

14. May 2014 · Write a comment · Categories: Outlook for Mac · Tags: Exchange account mail, macbook, mail account, Microsoft Office for Mac 2011, Microsoft Outlook

Using Oulook, Microsoft Office for Mac 2011, unable to get Exchange account mail to show up in "in" box. Sends but does not show"sent". Says it is connected and appears to download, but does not show in in-box.  I do get a message when I Quit - Red stop sign "Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error occurred. Any unsaved work may be lost." option is to Quit which is what I already asked for. Same problem on BOTH MacBook and MacPro Tower. so not specific to just MacBook machine. Server folks said it is working and don't know what do do at this end.  Mail on the Exchange account comes in on my iPhone, just not computers.  Have tried an assortment of changes to the settings and then back to what it was so that it shows up as 'connected'. I have not made the leap to Office as Cloud yet and am not in any hurry to have monthly charges if I don't have to.  I don't want to try a re-install from my disc without knowing what the consequences would be.  Any ideas? ___   Don't know if it is related. My other mail account is sbcglobal.net and seems to work ok. It frequently gets an error message (via the yellow alert in the bottom right) that ", or "Connection to the server failed or was dropped.", or "[SYS/TEMP] internal server error (#IS6532)" - but ONLY for the sbcglobal.net account and then it will be ok.  Not getting message errors like this for the Exchange mail account.

Did not receive Outlook.com code email now locked out completely, not receiving emails

I have a Windows Live email account separate from this that I use for professional purposes. I wanted to make a change to that account that required Outlook to send me an email with a code. I went to the email account several times but the email never arrived. Outlook then prevented me from making changes to the account but said I could continue to work on it as normally, I just wouldn't be able to make any changes until May 29.

A few days ago, my emails stopped coming through to my desktop in Outlook 2010. When I logged in to Outlook.com, I was notified that "we're not ready for you yet" meaning it wasn't May 29 yet. And then I was not allowed to proceed to my account. My only option was to sign out. Windows Live was not just preventing me from making changes to my mail account at Outlook, it was preventing me from any access to Outlook or any other features of my Windows Live account, including Community.

What can I do to get email started again and regain access to my Windows Live account?

Problem with accessing my hotmail account through windows live mail 2009

18. December 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Uncategorized · Tags: mail account, Windows Live Mail

Hello!

Today I encountered problem, reaching my hotmail account through my windows live mail (the application that I always use). Then I tried to reach my account through the microsoft webpage, but there was again some problem, so I had to change my password and then it asked me to do some more "security actions". So it has sent me several number-codes to my cellphone or to an other mail-account, that I put back in the fields where I was supposed to.... and then... it worked. I could reach my inbox again. But only through the webpage. Not through my windows live mail 2009. I was asked to provide the new password, but it doesn't work. I asks me to do it again and again and at some point it comes with an error 0x80048821.

What can I do??

Space Limit for each mail account under a domain transferred in outlook domains.

14. November 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Uncategorized · Tags: mail account, outlook mail account
Greetings people,

I'm using the fabulous outlook domains function for a while now and I'm quite satisfied! It is easy, safe, and much more, but the most important it's free and quite spacious (please, never change the free part!)! I was wondering though, how much space does each individual account have, under a domain who's been tranferred to outlook.com. I mean I know that each outlook mail account has a 5GB storage, which may be slowly grown if the user seems to use and need it, but does this apply to each mail account under a domain, or does the whole domain have 5GBs, which are shared by all the mail accounts it includes?

Moreover, not so important but I gotta ask, if there's a way to avoid those blockings that some times occur in my accounts, I suppose because I have many POP3 clients requesting the mail (in desktop pc, android phones etc) but I've made the phone verification several times and still it doesn't seem to certify them as trusted... Can I do something about that?

Thank you very much!

George B.

Continuously sending e-mails to the same person

13. November 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Uncategorized · Tags: Hotmail Account, mail account, Outlook account

Hi,
I have a problem with both my hotmail account and my outlook account.
In October my hotmail account decided to continuously send three or four e-mails to the same person. They went into the sent box, but luckily the people to whom they were being sent, didn't receive them!
As my account stated that the mails were being sent from my telephone, I assumed that there was a problem there, and deleted the account from my phone. The mails kept being sent, stating from my phone.
I opened up an outlook account. I set up the mail account on a different phone. The problem is still occurring, saying sent from the phone. In the last 20 hours, the same mail has been sent over 100 times.
Can anyone shed any light on the problem?
Thank you!

Few issues with the account recovering request

12. November 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: livemail · Tags: mail account, mailbox password
Hi there,

I've just requested an account recovering in order to change my mailbox password. I did not remember my personnal infos, so I had to fill a form to assure that I was the owner of my mail account (lastname, firstname, subject of recent emails etc.). It has been validated very quickly and I must say I'm very happy with it.

But there are two points I thought you might be interested with...

Firstly, when I was asked all the questions about recent emails received or sent, my mailbox was opened in another tab (probably because it was previously loaded) so it would have been very easy, for someone hijacking my account, to answer correctly having access to the mailbox. Maybe blocking the access to the mailbox when filling this form might be a solution to this?

Secondly, the subject of the email I received was in (I think) finnish:
"Olemme vahvistane

It's not a big deal, and the body of the email was in the correct language (french). FYI

Thank you anyway, again it was very quickly managed ;)
