I am using Live Mail 2011 and Windows 7 and am unable to send emails.  I have been using this for a couple of years with no problem and the problem began yesterday.

When I hit the send button on a message this is the error message that I receive :

Server Response: 451 Outbound mail refused - 65.189.53.248 - See http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/topics/internet/email-setup.html [R0209002]
Server: 'smtp-server.cinci.rr.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC79
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

I called Time Warner level 3 support and described my problem to them.  They said that all of my Live Mail and Time Warner configurations a set correctly and the problem is not a Time Warner issue, that I need to contact Mirosoft to see what is wrong with my Live Mail.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I an running Windows Live Mail 2012 under Windows 7.

On one of my email accounts, my deleted mail file summary shows a large number of deleted emails, although I have emptied the folder, but Live Mail cannot find any of these listed mails. Also, no new deleted mails are added to the list.

I would also mention that, when starting Live Mail after booting up, Live Mail says it has to recover the database

What is going on?

Lawrence

Every time I open Live Mail after rebooting, I get the message that Live Mail is recovering the Database. Also, Although I have permanently deleted all deleted messages, their headings still appear in the summery frame, although the individual messages cannot be found. What is going on, and how do I clear it?

Hello,

I've recently begun to get the "Service Error 3204" error in Windows Live Mail when trying to sync my @live.com e-mail. After researching it looks like there is no given solution, that the only real possibility is that it's a back-end issue, so I figured I would post a thread since none of the other ones are recent.

The full text of the error is as follows:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (xxxxx) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

Thanks in advance,

Charlie

I run windows 8.1 and updated the Microsoft essentials update only to find that it had deleted/removed windows live mail from my desktop/computer. I use live mail as my main mail program and want to know why this update is doing this, I have had to restore my system to get live mail back and now have to refuse the update until I can work out what is going on.

Well, a pop up kept bugging me to allow an automatic upgrade for Windows Essentials ... I avoided it several times because it would NOT tell WHAT was in it.  Finally I took a break from work to Google it & realized Live Mail was part of this group & essential fro business ... so allowed it to take it's time loading, then more time to require a reboot.

EVER SINCE, Live Mail on win8.1-64 takes x10+ longer to load.

I found a similar problem reported by others since win7, even a Fix It download ... that after the trouble said it didn't apply to my version.

Today, still takes a long time to load - will actually time it later this week, as if that update might matter.  Probably 5-10 minutes?

I'm sorry but do these guys know what they are doing?  They are taught to believe it's OK to release green wood on us worker bees, then we help them cure and rid their work of bugs ... at our businesses expense?

I'm trying to help a blind user of Windows7 to migrate from Live Mail to Outlook. He has just purchased Office365 and will be installing Windows Eyes to replace his current JAWS.

I don't personally use Live Mail or Outlook, so I'm afraid I don't know my way around either of them.

I read that the process should be...

1. In Live Mail, export the email folders to Microsoft Exchange

2. Define a profile in Outlook

3. Import the email folders

Is that right?

I'm stuck on the first step. When I try to export all the folders it starts then immediately stops. I've retried about 7 times, but get the same result every time.

Am I doing something wrong - what can I do to export the email folders?
