lumia 822 not syncing inbox for outlook.com

Hello:

Similar to other Outlook.com customers, my inbox is not syncing for outlook.com. I can send e-mails from my Nokia 822. The calendar syncs. Contacts sync. SkyDrive syncs with photos and Office. I just cannot see new e-mails arrive in my inbox on my phone.

The issue started for me on Monday July 15 about 6 PM Pacific.

I have tried to send an e-mail to Outlook.com from my work e-mail account. I receive it in my browser based e-mail as well as the Microsoft modern client as well as Outlook desktop application. I have tried sending emails from my phone using Outlook.com. They arrive as normal.

Is this a Microsoft issue?

My emails in my inbox are disappearing after a few days, i had over 100+ emails and now there are less than 20. Where are they going?

My inbox is only showing emails from the past week. All older emails in my inbox are disappearing or being deleted. Why is this happening and how do I prevent it? I have very important emails that I can't access anymore because of this. Please help!

In Hotmail there was a link that would return me to the inbox where the one I was currently looking at was rather than returning me to view of the most recent emails. I am trying to clean out my email so I have navigated to the oldest ones. If I want to keep the one I am viewing, rather than delete it, there is no option to return to the inbox at that older date so I always have to navigate back. Frustrating, when there used to be this utility.

I have upgraded my Hotmail account to Outlook a while ago and although I do not like that the messages now are grouped as a conversation, I had no problems with messages disappearing, which happened today. I keep some important emails in my inbox for my easy access online or on my iPhone and today I noticed that I only have around 8 messages in my inbox, which is very troubling.

What happened with my inbox and how do I recover my messages?

I am not receiving certain emails and also when I am receiving emails they are automatically disappearing. How can I stop this?

Certain emails sometimes appear in my inbox however they seem to delete themselves after me receiving them. However some emails seem to remain in my inbox. It is only certain types of email which has word documents attached that this is happening with. Also sometimes when i am informed by senders that they have sent me an email, when i log in to my inbox it does not seem to have been received. How can i resolve this issue?

Unable to see emails in inbox on my mac. Can see on PC, but unable to see on mac and if shown in inbox on mac, will disappear after a while. Before downloading Outlook 2011 for mac was using Entourage which worked fine. Only sent mail show on both pc and mac. Please help. Thanks

Can’t find unread emails in my inbox

My inbox (Outlook 2011 for Mac) is displaying 3 unread messages, but they do not appear to actually exist. I have cleared all Filters from my inbox, to no avail. I have also done an Advanced Search for emails with an Unread Status, but the emails do not appear in the search results there either. I have checked all sub-folders of my Inbox, and the messages are not there either.

Any idea what might be going on? I am using an Exchange server, and I have seen other users talk about possible sync issues in certain Exchange scenarios, but I have no idea if that might be my problem.

Flagged emails

How do I get my flagged items out of my inbox and allow them to stay in my flagged mail box. I can see them in both my inbox and the flagged box, but if I try to take them out of my inbox it sends them to the delete box and deletes them out of my flagged box. A flagged question appeared in the right hand corner of my screen and I either turned it off or on and that is when they ended up in my inbox. As you can probably assume, I am not very computer savvy so I need a simple explanation. Thank you

Messages disappearing from inbox Live Mail 2012

I have Windows 8 and Live Mail 2012. My account is not a Hotmail account or a POP account. Messages in my inbox disappear after only a few hours and I cannot find them even when using the search feature. I have searched the forums and done everything suggested (including selecting Show all messages in "filter messages" and synchronizing all messages after right-clicking the inbox). Nothing changes. My messages keep disappearing. I do not have this problem on my desktop computer which uses Outlook Express, but only on my new laptop with Windows Live Mail.

my entire inbox disappeared tonight @8:30. since outlook has been forcibly installed i have had erratic sservice. this is serious, i have lost very important correspondence. please treat this as an emergency.
