Like many other users, all emails from my inbox dating pre-April 2013 appear to have vanished. There should be some emails dating back 10 years but they are nowhere to be seen. I only discovered this yesterday when I found the oldest email in my Inbox to be
dated April 2013. This is pretty much the time Microsoft forced Outlook.com on to users.
I use my Outlook.com account daily.
I categorically have not renamed my account and have therefore not caused this myself.
I have been CAREFULLY clearing out old emails but absolutely have not deleted *everything* prior to April 2013.
I have tried changing the email structure settings of my Outlook.com account as per the instructions given on other complainants threads.
Seems like Microsoft have messed up yet again with this hateful forced Outlook.com conversion. Please restore my missing emails!

My firefox crashed and when I restarted and logged back in to my hotmail, my inbox was empty !!!!! I checked the deleted folder and my messages were no there. I am still getting new emails into my inbox, and can send an email. PLEASE HELP !!!!
We use Microsoft Office 2010, specifically got it for Outlook for our email account. When I log into webmail, there are messages in a POP folder, listed under deleted files. These messages are from people on my safe senders contact list. Why don't they go to my inbox? If they are not in my inbox, I cannot receive them into Office Outlook 2010, I have to log on to webmail then move them to my inbox from the pop folder, then go back to my Office Outlook to see them in my inbox. I was told by Microsoft that in Office 2010, you cannot receive any junkmail, every known email address has to be added to my safe senders list in order to receive emails. So I've done that but it still won't bring them into my inbox. Really annoying to have to check the same email account in 2 different places to make sure I'm not missing anything. In Office Outlook, there is already a folder for junk mail but nothing ever comes to that folder, so why is it even there anyways?
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Everything is gone the only email in my entire inbox is the one from outlook saying it had been upgraded. It has happened to both my accounts so I know it is nothing I did and they were all there the day before. How do I retrieve anything and what is going

After importing the .pst from my Win laptop to the Mac I now have a folder named 'backup'. I don't want my emails there, they need to be in the Inbox. So, I moved them and now I have an Inbox with a sub-folder labeled 'Inbox'. Again not what I want. I
then copied ALL the emails out of the sub-folder into the main Inbox. Fixed right? No. Now while syncing I am seeing my old emails twice in the new Inbox. How do I correct this? All I was looking to do was take my emails off the Win box and put them on my

I signed in to my hotmail/outlook account this morning to find all of my emails prior to July 24, 2013 gone from my inbox. Previously, I had emails in my inbox dating back to 2000. I suspect this may have something to do with the fact that I use the android
Outlook.com app - it only syncs the past month's emails (max limit) and I have a sneaking suspicion that in doing so, it may have automatically "deleted" all the rest of my emails from my account's inbox.
I have tried looking in the deleted folder but they are not there and I have also tried the "recover emails" route but this hasn't worked. Any suggestions on what I can do would be greatly appreciated! I had lots of important emails that I regularly referred
to in there and would really like to get them back... Also, I sign on to my email account pretty much every day so this shouldn't be an account deactivation problem.

I only created the account a few days ago and there were only 4 emails in there this morning when I checked so it isn't that case of a full inbox or anything like that. I sign in and it just takes me to the settings pretty much....no Inbox option or anything.
This morning when I signed in it was fine, it went straight to my inbox as usual....Please help me!

I tried to set up a windows live mail account on my PC yesterday. I normally use outlook.com. During the transfer to Windows live mail, all folders and emails transferred except my inbox. I lost 99% of the messages in my inbox. They are no longer in my outlook.com account and never transferred to the windows live mail application.
