Mac Mail: Hotmail (IMAP) inbox not syncing

Hello

I followed all the steps to setup the IMAP configuration of my Hotmail account. All my folders synchronize, except the inbox folder.

What can I do to fix this problem?

    Hi there,


    I have an Outlook.com account which I've tried to use Thunderbird, Outlook 2011 and Mac Mail to send e-mails. I use IMAP configuration to receive all e-mails and folders fine. However I could not send a single e-mail through any of this e-mail clients (through the webmail I can send e-mails normally).


    I've been using the Microsoft official guidance in order to setup STMP account (smtp-mail.outlook.com, port 587, TLS connection, password and etc) but every time I receive a message which says "the SMTP server connection time out".


    Important to say that I can receive and send e-mails through Gmail account settings on any of those e-mails clients but Outlook is still not sending. 



    Anyone could help me please?

    HI there:

    My company uses a IMAP that has TSL security. It works perfecly on Office for Windows (I'´m using Exchange proxy that Mac do not have) but in Mac I'm able to receive mail but I can´t send mail. My company server uses TSL security (SSL is antique) and is not working. I've tried every single port on SSL security but still not working. Some hints please?
