I have several account with MS: Hotmail, live etc
One of them, that I have rarely used lastly was @Hotmail.com
I can still log back via my @live.com account (switching on it) but all the content is gone.

I was unhappy with the change from Hotmail to Outlook, but have managed to get used to it. What really annoys me is the column of 'hints' or 'try this' suggestions which occupys a quarter of the page of incoming and outgoing draft and sent emails.
I have tried in vain to find something to click on to delete it.
Please help or I will have not choice but to give up Outlook/Hotmail and use my other email accounts with Yahoo and Three.
These items I'm talking about are not advertiements. They are originated by Outllo/Hotmail and refer to
1. Skydrive - "try this
2.Move or delete with Sweep - "learn more"
3. Register your computer as Trusted = "do it now"
I've read these and choose to ignore them. I just want this column out of the way please.

I used hotmail without problems for years. Then I was forced to login via Windows Live. Now entire folders have disappeared containing
much vital correspondence. Where did they go? Why? How can I retrieve them?

- Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments. Then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them and your in-box will be that much smaller.
- Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your E-mail account to immediately delete junk e-mail? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
- Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.

Outlook does no such thing. It sends the email and that's the end of it. Outlook forces me to to have to take extra steps to open a new window for my contacts and add the person manually (if I even remember to do that). Am I missing something? Is there a way to be prompted automatically to add a new person's name to my contact list after hitting Reply, that I am unaware of?
I thought Outlook was going to be an improvement over Hotmail, but the more I use it the less I like it. In fact I have grown to dislike it very much. The new format of Outlook is causing me to work harder and longer than Hotmail ever did to accomplish the same things. That is not improvement. Outlook email seems like a much more antiquated email application than Hotmail across the board. Thank you.
