new to BTinfinity.. got my btinternet password;
I can log in to btyahoo and if I send an e-mail to my Hotmail account it gets through.
If I try to send an e-mail from my btinternet email account from Outlook2010 in Windows 7, it gets sent but never arrives in my Hotmail (or my friends' hotmail) accounts.
Worrying because it makes me wonder what other e-mails I might send but never get through with no rejection message!
Oh.. and I can sent an e-maiul to my btinternet address FROM Hotmail; no problem, gets through to my Outlook 2010 on my desktop, no worries and yes the btinternat address IS in my safe senders list in Hotmail..
Any ideas?

Original title: hotmail received from BTyahoo but not from btinternet from Outlook
Hello!
Bought a Surface Pro the other day, Action Center notifies the need to "Trust this PC", when clicked the account information is incorrect, I select alternate email option, receive the email and code, enter the code, now only receive a message stating incorrect
info will be removed within a month, while the Surface is still not trusted. I now cannot access any security aspect of my account, nor can I "Trust this PC", which is making important aspects of this pricey purchase useless.
In researching this issue, I come across this rather disturbingly ended forum post and am concerned with this entire process, the continued use of Hotmail (Outlook) and Microsoft's customer service, let alone support.
Any resolution information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I never wrote or sent an email about "comments". These have been coming to me for a couple of weeks
- basically any time I send a message from my own website email (which is set up to send a copy to
my hotmail address) to one person in particular (& her email is not hotmail either).
This has been set up this way since last year. Again, I am experiencing this after sending an email
from my private domain email to another private domain email. However, these spam emails, above,
all get delivered to my hotmail address, directly?
At first I thought it was a glitch- until today when I received this email from the president of our local
seniors computing club:
"The most irritating SCAM around at the moment causing mayhem is the Hot
Mail One. Where people are thanked for reporting a scam from xxxx person
then refusing to allow the onforward of a legitimate e-mail. Any clues?.
People are getting mad about this one. One university has totally
responded to this one and just junks anything that comes in (even though
it is legitimate)."
Can someone look into this? I'm already tired of it. Is this some sort of spam/address mailer?
I'm on Linux Mint- not Windows, which leads me to think it's my email account that is compromised...
Tracy
