Security Info validation problem with outlook.com

I accessed my hotmail and was asked to send a security code to an alternate email address.  The email address offered to me no longer exists.  There is no option to send it to another email address and it says it will take 30 days to update my details with a new alternate address.  I am travelling overseas and cannot wait that long.  i depend on my hotmail account.  

How can I get the code sent elsewhere immediately?

If someone responds, where will I see the answer as I won't be able to access my hotmail the next time I log in?  Microsoft have presented me with a unique problem here and I really need it sorted so I will be able to access my mail.

I have read many many posts and many answers that werent really answers on how to get back into a hacked hotmail account. I have been through the password verification several times with no luck. It has told me to wait 24 hours because I've tired too many times. Please someone help me! This email is very important to me having had for 20  years.....HELP! *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is  my account.

Guys,

Im running a startup here so my email is extremely valuable to me and must be accessed at all times. All of a sudden when I visit hotmail for past 2 days I've been getting this message, "
Call us overprotective...
...but we need to make sure you can receive a security code if you ever lose access to this account". It gives me one option for email which is a hotmail account that I used 8 years ago and forgot the password for, otherwise it gives me option to add in my phone number which I just refuse to do. I dont want my cell number on the internet at all. I feel like its a breach of my privacy.

So, it says I can login for now, but theres only 5 days until I have to do 1 of those 2 options above.

Someone please help me. Ive logged in temporarily for now but I dont want this message to come up in 5 days. I need my email, its crucial to the growth of my business.

Thank you sincerely for any help.

(Im looking for a way around this without giving my cellphone number)

How do I add more friends on MSN after upgrading Hotmail to outlook?

Now, ever since the Hotmail has upgraded to Outlook, I could not even add a single friend on Messenger. In other words, Messenger itself had also disappeared and I could not view friends' status updates and photos. How do I view people's profiles on Messenger or add friends to chat on Messenger?

Live Mail to Hotmail account sync question

Hi everyone,

hope someone can answer this for me. I have had a Hotmail account for over 8 years now. I have my mail in there going back that long. I also use the Windows Live Mail client (on my PC) to download my email from several accounts, including my Hotmail account. I want to delete all the mail from my Hotmail account online (because it's continually hacked) but leave the mail in my Live Mail client on my PC. However, when I delete a message from my Hotmail account online, it also goes from my Live Mail client on my PC. I just want to be able to receive them on my PC, then delete them from my online account.

iphone/ ipad wont log in to hotmail

Hi
I can sign in to my email account through firefox google and safari on my iphone and ipad
but when ever i try to connect trough my apple devices i get a message saying unable to verify account
I have deleted hotmail account from apple devices and tried to reinstall again after changing my password
but keep getting same message. if i try to log in unable to verify account  or user name and password incorrect
can anyone help
driving me crazy

Is IMAP available yet for live, hotmail or outlook.com?

Hi all, I have done a search and have noticed that this has been asked quite a few times before and that due it being a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) has IMAP yet been enabled for use with our live, hotmail and/or outlook accounts?

If not will it ever be enabled?

attachments to hotmail e-mails

I'm unable to attach documents to my outgoing e-mails.  I get a drop down window which states: 'we're still getting set up.  please try again later'.  That message has been there  for the past two days.
