how do I disable syncing of calendar items on Windows Live Mail client? syncing appears to get stuck on infinite loop while sending and receiving and doing calendar items

thanks!

Windows Live Mail stopped sending emails this week for some reason. It is neither sending nor receiving email. Before Saturday it was working fine.

Has there been an update or anything I need to adjust?

Thanks in advance.

Original title: Windows Live Mail client not sending

I'm trying to add a Yahoo mail account to my Windows Live Mail client and, in running through the wizard to add a new account, it is asking me to confirm the incoming server address and outgoing server address.  I know these things are normally fairly standard strings for each product but does anyone know the details I need to put in for a yahoo mail account?  Any help gratefully received.
Thanks.
I removed a POP3 email account from my windows live mail client. I want to get access to the emails that should have been saved locally. Where do I find the file containing these emails after the account has been removed from the windows live mail client

.eml attachments that I receive from one AOL user comes thru as .eml in a Notepad format. I use Windows 8.1 with the Windows Live Mail client. Email from all other senders is ok. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Thnx.

I have two questions:

1)  I have been having some difficulties trusting that when mailing to a group that all the people receive it.

It used to be that expanding the group in the BCC or To would show all the people in the group.

Recently, I see only see a random three or four people from the group, and don't trust that all in the group will then get the email.

Any ideas what may be happening?

I use the EMAIL CLIENT (not webmail), that I downloaded from Windows Live Essentials.

I see that you are in the process of confusing us with further changes on this forum, but will roll with the changes.

2)  I am unable to copy a list of email addresses from a spreadsheet column and just drop into the To: or BCC when using Hotmail or outlook.com account, either online or with my Windows Live Mail client.

Because of this I had to set up a Gmail account where the feature does work properly.

What is the proper procedure for inserting a list of email addresses into the "TO" or "CC" or "BCC" without having the manipulate the file?

Windows live mail on two of our computers are acting crazy. they are downloading thousands of messages/emails which are non-existant every now and then. the downloading just goes on and on and never stops until we find it out and manual stops it. During this time we do not receive any real emails that have been received at the webmail server. it is webmail of a company that has been configured in the windows live mail client and we always delete the past emails from the email/webmail server. Still this phenomenon occurs and this is realy annoying. please help me to find a solution to this problem

I use the windows live mail client that was included in windows live essentials.  Now that I've upgraded my O/S from windows 8 to 8.1, I am noticing that some emails are not showing the content properly in the viewing area.  In other words, the email appears blank.  However, if I read the email using the windows 8.1 mail program, I can see the email fine.  Bottom line, what the heck happened to windows live mail program?  Is this not supported in 8.1 or is this a bug?
