Suddenly my hotmail on my computer won't send or receive messages. My internet connection is fine, and I can get and receive emails on my iphone 4s. I have tried to close out of windows, take the account off and put it back on, and Ialso tried deleting
the majority of the emails from my account because I was worried I had too many on it. My iphone email is fine, it is just an issue on my computer.

My phone battery died and for some reason my Hotmail has not remembered my password to my account.
I have a number of different passwords that I have for various thi gs so I have tried them all and nothing has worked; (
I have filled out the form and it has stated that there isnt enough evidence however I have no more evidence!
Then I have tried to send a reset password to my alternative email address however this address was made up in the past as didnt have an alternative email and still don't!
Please can someone help me recover my password toy hotmail.

I have emails from 2000 and when the Hotmail was moved to Outlook in March 2013 for me, all my old emails were missing!!!!!
I have tried all the options recommeded for trouble shooting, but to no avail!!
Please help as i have many invaluable emails which i cannot access.

Hi Im trying to import my Hotmail contacts from Outlook.com into Windows Live Mail.I went to outlook.com people and exported my hotmail contacts to my pc.I imported those contacts to Win Live Mail but only 30 of those contacts appeared.How can i export
all my contacts ? Ive got quite a few not sure exactly how many contacts had about 500 friends on Msn messenger and 4000 facebook friends if that helps

I have two accounts, one hotmail and one outlook.com. The outlook.com address is my primary email and the hotmail account has been my main account for windows phone. I'd love to be able to merge these and get rid of the hotmail account but I've been told
that it's not possible. The account linking option was a good workaround which made it very easy to switch between the two but Microsoft decided to kill that very useful feature.
Now I'm told that setting up aliases will be helpful except for one problem. When I try to enter the alias it says the account is already taken. Yes, it is BY ME!! This really is starting to seem like someones bad joke. Can anyone tell me what I'm suppose to do??

I had my main hotmail account for over 15 years now. I wanted to create a second hotmail account to manage incoming emails from my neighborhood and keep them separated from my personal emails. I thought the alias was the way to go, but hotmail ended renaming
my username to my new neighborhhod alias, and my old hotmail account is the alias now. I had very strict junk mail settings for my old hotmail but now they don't apply so I keep getting all the ****, f***book and similars in my inbox, while the important stuff
gets send to the junkmail! It's a BIG mess! I just want to keep both accounts but independent from each other. I don't want to delete either one, just need to have separate inboxes with their own junkmail and privacy settings. How can I do this without messing
up??? Please help!
