In Mail on my Mac I can still see these emails but when I sign in online, they're all gone. I didn't delete them by mistake
Since one week all my old(er) emails are gone. I had approx 6 pages of email in my Hotmail inbox and suddenly everything is gone and the oldest email is from only a week ago. What happened to my older emails and how do I get it back?

I have setup my Hotmail account in Windows live mail by using http. Then all messages have been downloaded. However, I am now having a problem sending and not receiving new messages as this screenshot. I am quite surpsied that the same ID of Hotmail account and password are used.
Sometimes this error shows me::

Inside the "Home" tab, tick “Sign Out” and select "Sign out of Windows Live Mail"
Tick the "Send/Receive" button.
And second thing in this if you are using Norton Internet Security 2011 Beta so please disable it otherwise it will not allow you to complete this task.
However, regarding first step, I am not signed to my hotmail account yet in order to sign out of it. I am only asked to be signed in to my hotmail account whenever I open the Windows live mail as it is shown below. Also, when logging in to it, I don't let windows live mail remember its password. Thus, I think I think I don't need to sign out of it at all.
About the other step made no difference.

Hi, Since yesterday I have been able to sign into my windows live account but have not been able to access my email. I get the following message every time.
Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now
If you continue to have this problem, please report it to Microsoft.pROB
I have tried the following but nothing has helped:
- clearing cache etc
- different browsers
- different devices including mobile
- different OS's
Any ideas what the issue is?

I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I've been using Hotmail through my iPad mail app for a year now, and it all works and syncs perfectly apart from the fact that my Sent folder does not show up in my folder list. I've always put up with it, but
am now hoping that I can fix this as it is frustrating not being able to view the emails I've sent. My sent items do sync with Outlook.com so I can sign in to that via the web and see my sent mail, but it is frustrating to have to do that. All my other folders
and subfolders are present, just not my Sent folderl.
I also have another email account synced to my iPad mail, and the sent folder works perfectly with that one.
Can anyone advise?

I have had my Hotmail account for 11 years but have not used it as frequently recently due to Hotmail being banned where I work. I logged into my account yesterday and found that all of my emails, folders and contacts had been deleted. I understand from
the Terms that this has probably occurred due to me not accessing my account for 270 days. I did not realise that there was this condition or that it had been that long since I last logged in. Is it possible for my emails, folders and contacts to be restored
? I would really appreciate it, I feel quite upset that I have lost all of my historical emails. I have used my Hotmail account all over the world. I will ensure in the future to log into my account more frequently, now that I know that this can happen. Please
help.
