Signed in and found it EMPTY of everything. Tried to recover from deleted box; but achieved nothing. I have NOT done this!! Mails have not been forwarded; they are not in my other e/mail account or in my computer Office e/mail box. Tried to get contact details of anyone from the Hotmail account; but the way the helpline is configured; it is a Byzantine labyrinth in its construction. I ended up in going in ever decreasing circles and finished up my own proverbial!! Anyone got a contact address to a live body who can offer me a plausible answer or result!!! Thankyou in anticipation.

In the old version of hotmail there was a spell checker button which would give you spelling options for each misspelled word.

In the new version of hotmail if you spell a word wrong and hotmail doesn't guess it correctly as you are spelling it, then it underlines it with red dots.  Seems like once it is underlined with red dots there is no way to spell check that word.  I've tried clicking on it, etc, but it seems like it thinks you want to spell it wrong and won't give spelling options.  Is there some way to spell check the whole email after composing it?  Right now I draft long emails in MS Word and spell check them there, and then copy them into hotmail.  What do others do when the hotmail auto spell check doesn't work?  I find the new auto spell check feature soooo frustrating!
Muchas gracias,
José Manuel
I received an email from Microsoft requesting my hotmail information to include password, stating that my account would be closed in 48 hours if I don't respond.  Is this legitimate?
Si è verificato un problema con Hotmail cosi mi viene scrtto quando accendo hotmail

All afternoon today I have been unable to log into my hotmail (live) account.  I just get the message  'sorry, there seems to be  a problem with hotmail right now'  Before that when composing an e-mail the service became very sluggish and then I could not save drafts, send e-mail or look at contacts.  Then I couldn't relog in at all.  Why and when will this be fixed - I just can't do any work.  My internet connexion is just fine - except for hotmail.  Using Chrome on a desktop PC - latest version of chrome on windows XP.
Nothing is wrong with my password, and I even tried to reset my password. But I just cannot access my email.
This message is given:

Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Hotmail right now
What you can do:
This is driving me crazy, all I want to set up Hotmail plus in Australia, to get rid of the column ads that are increasing in frequency and are just annoying. Previously I could do it from the Hotmail plus home page. ,
I was sent these two Oz  numbers 1800-002-587 & 1800-000-021 to call 9am to 9pm AEST one tells me to wait to be connected to a service operator  and then disconnects, the other informs me of the office hours and also disconnects. I have called these numbers since early December with the same result.
Every attempt to resolve this issue has drawn a blank. I guess that the Australian market is too small and insignificant to be of any value and worth to an American corporation given Greater LA is more populous than this Country.......Australia. Microsoft flagged ninemsn which flagged Microsoft etc., etc., this bizarre but no longer funny!

I need help getting into my blocked Hotmail account from a live person that can help me as I keep getting trapped in the automated Recovery system. Everything I have tried that has been suggested in the que/ans forum has not worked......end up back in the "circle".  Surely there is some way to get around the automated system and have a real person help you........isn't there???   I am old, like your Grandmother, and not computer wise enough to get along with just hints! ha    Thanks, Happy
