For the last 1 week, I have not been able to receive any instant messages from my contacts when using my hotmail outlook messenger. I access it through my inbox. My instant messages go through to my contacts, but I do not receive them for some reason.

All my contacts are able to chat with their other contacts, except me.

I hope this issue can be resolved soon.
I use windows live with 4 different accounts and I also use Hotmail for a club which I belong to, but all contacts have now synced since Hotmail went over to Outlook giving other club members access to my personel contacts and of course the opposite way round. Can anyone tell me how to stop this happening absolute nightmare and now has resulted in my privacy being invaded without my consent from what I can see. Thanks Peter
essage wasn't sent. We have daily message limits to stop spammers--we apologize for stopping your." when I try to send a HOTMAIL OUTLOOK email. And I have sent ONLY 5 email today... in the last 12 hours! PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi,

Please help. I have been unable to reply to emails from my SCHOOL AND WORKPLACE because of this! This has severely hindered me in my daily correspondence! I have tried to literally copy & paste the body content to Notepad to remove all formatting, and copy paste it back to hotmail to reply and the annoying error message still shows: "You can only have 5 attachments. Please remove some files and try again."

If this keeps up, I am forced to give up on hotmail completely and rant to all my fb & forum friends about the poor quality of service & functionality that hotmail is providing. I have never encountered so much problems (eg. lags up to 53secs to open ONE email at any point of time on a 1gbps internet connection) until hotmail decided to switch to Outlook. Everyone has been persuading me to stay away and switch to Gmail but I am staying on for the fact that I've used hotmail most of my life (I do have an existing gmail account as well).

Additionally, I have been having trouble accessing my old email addresses because they were hacked which forced me into creating a new email address. The questionnaire used to retrieve my old email address was not relevant any more because I have no idea what the hacker has sent out using my email, what passwords s/he has changed it to, etc and I created the account when I was barely 10 yrs of age!

Anyway, the latter is not of much importance as compared to the titled subject matter. Please resolve this!

OUTLOOK is completely DOWN!  Using my Windows 8, Used Windows 7, Still no access available.

When Log in is attempted, ERROR Message regarding Sync with MOBILE Devices. No other Messages or Errors mentioned.

Cannot READ Messages, See Messages, Access Messages, contacts, or anything Only get the Error for Mobile device only.

Whether log in through outlook on computer, or directly through msn.ca  and following the outlook link. Nothing works.

We need back into our email accounts.

Please Acknowledge and repair.

Thank You.

my husband and i both have hotmail/live.com accounts, which were upgraded to outlook this year. we want to be able to view each other's calendars. we have each 'shared' our own calendar with the other via our exchange accounts and accepted each other's share by clicking 'accept' on the email we each received. BUT for the life of me, i can't see where to see my husband's calendar from within my hotmail account. where is it??? i don't want to have to log into his hotmail account every time i want to see his calendar!
