I've had a hotmail email account for 8+ years, that I've always used as a secondary account. There are valuable emails, pictures, contacts, files etc that I want to continue to have access to. Now that microsoft has switched to Outlook, I can't sign
in at all, using the same email I have always had, because it says it does not exist. I would like to regain access to my old account. I had to create a new, temporary account to try and resolve this issue. It would be great if someone could help me since
the people I spoke to in live chat were not helpful at all. Everything I've tried has just sent me in one big circle. I just want my old account back and everything in it.

I've tried to send to my own hotmail email address from a shared hosting environment using a php script. I can see in the email logs that hotmail accepted my email (smtp status code 250) but I just couldn't see it in my inbox or spam folder.
The php script is working if ran from a different IP. So I suppose my IP is blacklisted by hotmail in some way. However, I've checked the public RBL and http://postmaster.live.com/snds/ but they are all fine. Also, I think hotmail should reject my email
if they think my IP in any blacklist.
Can someone point me a right direction to solve this issue and that would be much appreciated.

I have had a hotmail email for approximately 10 years.
About 3 years ago I stopped using it and moved to Gmail, purely because I was receiving so many junk emails.
I tried to access my original hotmail account 3 years ago or so, with no luck (I had forgotten the password to my 'back-up' email, which itself had no back-up email set up), and microsoft denied my application to reset the password.
I have since come across a situation which desperately requires me to access my original email account, and today I managed to reset the password through a successful application.
I was very surprised when I logged in to see an entirely empty email system, other than for Microsofts 'Welcome to Outlook'.
It is almost like the emails have all been deleted due to inactivity, however I desperately need a couple that I KNOW were in there. There is no sign of anyone to speak to at Microsoft about this, so if anyone could shed any light on this matter I would
greatly appreciate it.

I have a Yahoo email account set up as my alias; however I have been getting a lot of spam at that email address so I was wanting to switch over all my important accounts to my Hotmail account, including my Microsoft account. I keep receiving an error

the thing is that from 2008 we loosed the password in a way or another of the first one but we was logging to it from second one then going to account alias.
