hotmail account works › Question about Outlook Express

Can’t sync one email account in Windows Live mail and Outlook. Other email accounts work fine.

Since last week I can not access one email account through outlook or Windows Live mail. I can access the email account through MSN home page. My Hotmail account works fine on both platforms but the MSN account can't be accessed.

The error message I get is:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn account. Sorry, we were unable to sign you in to Windows Live ID at this time. Please try again later.

How do I fix this?

I can’t open my emails or find anyone who can help!

My Hotmail account works perfectly except it will not allow me to open my emails since yesterday morning. I have tried to get advice from Microsoft, but they can't help as it's a free account and there is no 'live chat' facility for outlook. Obviously I can't email as I can't open it! Any suggestions please!!

Our client is unable to send emails to Hotmail.com (was working last week).

This is the error our client's exchange server comes back with. We have confirmed the Hotmail account works and it live.

Requested #550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable ##

It appears MS are blocking our domain as telnet email fails (see below). The same telnet commands work when not using the client's network.

Connection to host lost.

Is anyone able to assist? It appears MS are blocking our clients request to send email to Hotmail.com

I am setting up a new computer with Windows 8 and Outlook 2007. I can not get my ****@ hotmail.com account to send or receive messages. All other (4 other) email accounts work fine. I logged into hotmail.com to confirm my password is correct. I manually set up the hotmail account in Outlook as described in other help posts. My hotmail account works fine on my old computer. What could be wrong with my new computer set up? Thank you.
