Hotmail In Box – Desktop Shoprtcut

I used to have a shortcut to my hotmail inbox on my desktop.  It got deleted in error. Now I cannot restore it.  All I can do is get a shortcut to the Hotmail log in page.  Is this a Microsoft 'hint' to get me to channge from a Hotmail address or am I just not setting the shortcur right via tha right click on my in box page.  HELP

Windows Live Essentials 2011: Installation error

I was ask to upgrade the installed and running version of Windows Live Essentials 2011.

Even if I'm an administrator, I always get an error message : "0x80070005", Source "WaitForCatalog"

I deinstalled Live Essentials in order to start a clean install but after runnin the install program, I still got the same error message.

Any hint is welcome!
