Someone has created an account using my name and phone # and is soliciting information from financial institutions and car companies. How do I stop them?

Someone has created an account using my name and phone # and is soliciting information from financial institutions and car companies.  How do I stop them?  I am afraid they are attempting some kind of identity theft and are trying to get additional information.  I have received countless phone calls today from various individuals saying I sent them on-line requests which I did not.  I was told they came from an account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** with my phone# attached.  I did not set up this account.

emails filed in subfolders lose their content or show content of a previously deleted email

When trying to open emails filed in certain sub-folders, the quick view pane either shows "Message cannot be found" or shows the content of a previously deleted email.

Most of these emails have attachments and are from financial institutions, could this be a virus/trojan?
