Hi I have not been able to access my university email account for about 2 weeks now. I have tried via outlook but get an error message since they have switched to office 365.

This is the error message I get

This account can't be used to access Outlook.com

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).

when using office 365 login I get redirected to the university pages as soon as office 365 recognises the tees.ac.uk suffix, at the university login page I'm told my username/password are wrong.

If I go directly to https://MyMail.tees.ac.uk orhttps://outlooklive.tees.ac.uk I get told the same thing, that my username/ password is incorrect.

I know for a fact that the password and username are correct and my account has not been hacked as I can assess the skydrive for that account. When on the sky drive page if I use the drop down menu on the left to switch service I have tried to select outlook from that but get the same error message as above. From the account settings in skydrive I have set up 2account aliases, one with @hotmail.co.uk and 1 with live.co.uk in an attempt to circumnavigate the system but If I use office 365 to do this I get redirected to outlook and thus receive an error message (same as above).

I tried loging in viahttps://portal.microsoftonline.com but got this error message

This doesn't look like a valid user ID. Make sure you typed the user ID assigned to you by your organization. It usually looks like *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

I have tried deleting cookie and emptying caches, different browsers, and different computer machines and using in private browsing but still can’t get access.

I graduated 2 years ago, so now longer at Teesside University but I do use that email regularly and really need to get my access back.

I am not the only graduate to face this problemhttp://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/mail-signin/issues-logging-in-to-uni-exchange-account-uni-no/592ed97e-505e-43bb-8172-d88fbf9603bc

I believe the problem is I am not a current student so the university system doesn’t accept my username and password , and outlook won’t work with the account as Teesside university has had the suffix
.tee.ac.uk upgraded to office 365 regardless of student status.

Please sort this out quickly!

Thank You

Hi they all.

Error message "This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case." for www.payeu.net.

Thanks for help me.

Urgently.

Both the functions to empty the trash and to search my inbox no longer work and haven't for severak days.  I also can't use the "find emails" function.  I don't see any other complaints in the community on these issues.

I keep getting an error message:  There was a problem with the Outlook service (a temporary network connectivity issue that has nothing to do with your computer). Please try again.  If you keep seeing this message, go to Service status to check if there's a problem with Outlook.

Service Status is fine so what gives and how long will this go on?!

Please help.  Thanks.
i have my pictures saved in my pictures on my pc....when i go to send a picture i have to go through hotmail.....i do this and have sent many many pictures before  but with this one i am getting this error message and not i cant send any .........please help

I can send from a subaccount on ATT mail but can not receive. The error message is as follows:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Att(UWCC) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90

Server Response: -ERR [AUTH] Please verify your account by going to https://login.yahoo.com (#MBR1221)

Server: 'inbound.att.net'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92

Protocol: POP3

Port: 995

Secure(SSL): Yes

I am able to send and receive on another subaccount w/o any problems. However there seems to be an error in sending the password of the troublesome subaccount. This problem just appeared when MS appeared to update Windows Live Mail on my computer.

Has anyone had a similar problem.?

Why am I getting a error message of me being logged-in a Office 365 account?
Without warning I was unable to access my windows live mail, contacts and calendar. I have tried to find the file msvcr110.dll without success. The error message is now 0x80041161. Can you advise on next steps?  I have windows 8 installed and assumed I would be virus/trojan free. I can access my web mail but my folders and contacts lists are important; my last back up was two months ago and missing key stuff. Yes, I know.

I had a connection problem with my standard e-mail account (sent mail did not go out); since resolved, but one of sent e-mails keeps coming up as error message each time I open the account ("do you now want to send" ?); when I choose "yes" I again get the same message, but all I want to do is cancel / remove this original send e-mail ..... Can anybody help?? Thanks.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.  I have checked with Comcast and all settings to and from the Server are correct.  I have run the Windows repair for WLM, scanned the computer for viruses, etc., but still get the error message.  E-mails are going into my Comcast.net account, but not coming over into WLM.  Have also tried selecting and deselecting the "work offline" option.  No luck.  What's next???  Thanks.

I have now provided a copy of the error message I receive.

There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.
