Win8.1 preview x86:
I have some stubborn files on Skydrive that cannot be deleted. Something similar to this thread.
These files cannot be deleted in the "modern" app: no any error message, the file just stays there.
In Windows explorer: when I delete without recycle bin (shift+del), again the file stays there and no error messages.
When deleting to recycle bin: the file moves to the recycle bin, but then cannot be purged from there.
All this after installing the recent "Update that improves the stability of SkyDrive in Windows 8.1 preview"...
Since switching from Windows XP with OUTLOOK email to Windows 7 with Windows Live Mail under Windows Live Essentials 2011, I to have experienced this error message and lock up problem. My wife and I have two separate profiles and two separate email accounts all coming from the same POP server. Both of us have experienced this problem in our email, me twice, her once so far. working with Dell support on our new computer, we finally determined that the problems were caused by corrupted emails. Once in the outbox, and another in the inbox. We were unable to open, respond to, or delete emails once the account locked up. I was able to clear the problem once by selecting every email that had the error message at the same time and deleting all at once. The other time, Dell was able to finally solve the lockup but I can't tell you exactly how they did it.
I'm concerned that this problem has occurred three times. Additionally, since switching to Windows Live Mail I continually get duplicate emails about 90 percent of the time from random senders. My wife has experienced this problem once or twice also. I'm trying to solve both these problems with this new mail setup.

Hello:
My Outlook.com account rejected an email forwarded to it from a Yahoo account showing the above error message, which I guess relates to Outlook policy.
This was just an ordinary email containing .jpg's of classic cars from the 50"s, nothing more.
This is the second time this has happened with the last week, but have not had this problem prior to that.
I cannot understand why it was rejected in the first place, but am concerned about it becoming a persistent problem.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks, Michael
I am getting the following error message:
SkyDrive Pro Critical Error
SkyDrive Pro needs to close because of a hardware or configuration problem
Error Description: Unspecified error
HRESULT:0x80004005
AssertTag:0x00c6d180
The interesting thing is that if I log into my PC as the adminstrator, SkyDrive Pro works fine; however, if I log into my PC with my user name, I receive this error message.
I have run the online the repair program twice.
Thanks for you help!
I am operating a laptop with Windows 7 operating system. I have Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. I am a teacher and I use the email program several times a day to send my students articles of interest I find on the web (as either links or attachments).
My students are in Korea and so they all use Naver as their email service account. For the past week, all of their emails are being returned over and over with the error message: Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 421 4.3.2 Your ip is filtered by RBL. And this connection will be closed.(IP:76.96.62.24)(Caues:'www.kisarbl.or.kr')
I don't know if this is on my end or theirs, and if it's theirs what do I need to tell them to fix it? These emails are crucial to my classes. If anyone knows the answer I would greatly appreciate it.
You first have to find out why the message wasn't sent. The error message should give the reason; please click on it to select it, then use right-click to copy it and paste it into your reply here.
You don't have to delete an unsent message in the outbox. You can always drag it to a drafts folder if you want to make some changes before trying to send it again.
I have tried to drag my outbox messages into my draft folder. Won't work. Tell me what to do next.
Actually I really want to delete the messages so they quit going. They just keep going to e-mail address over and over every hour.
Because your question is different from the one that started the thread you posted in, I've moved yours to its own thread
Today I started getting an error message every time I try to send an email.
Cannot Send Mail
An error occurred while delivering this message
So far this issue is restricted to sending emails. I am still receiving them.
How can I fix this?
Thanks.
