On May28, 2014, our anti-virus software detected and removed malware.  During that time all of our current emails and emails in all folders became unreadable.  Once the malware was removed, new emails were fine, but previous emails are still unreadable.  The email headers are fine however, just the body of the emails appear to be corrupt (jibberish and special characters).  Is there a way to decrypt the emails to return them to normal?

Hi can any one tell me what I need to do to find the email header as this is one way to find out if I am being scammed I have look on the internet and found out about this but can't seen to fide this information out and please give me step by step on how to do this as I followed this and could not find this option in the tools menu

Any time I try to take any action such as open or delete, the Outlook application freezes.   To try to resolve this, I have deleted my history, temporary internet files and website files, and cookies and website data.  I have restarted my computer.  This problem started about October 17, 2013, and has been continuous these past 5 days.   I have two other Hotmail accounts, and they are working without problem.

when hot mail was my email of choice there was a mail setting tab where you could set how your header displayed giving you a complete MIME header. can it be done with this new version to automatically show?
Please let us know what information is conveyed by the X-TMN and X-EN-IMPSID email headers.

My guess is that Microsoft/hotmail logs some information that could potentially be used by law enforcement to track down the sender...
But that's just a guess... Please confirm or tell us the what/when/how/why of these headers.

There are also an X-OriginalArrivalTime and Message-ID headers that could be unique to each message and therefore used as keys to a database that could record everything microsoft knows about the sender, etc, etc.
