Hi All,

My email account is 'spoofed'. Does the outlook team have someone I can work with to fix the issue and prevent my contact list from getting spam emails?

Issue:
Emails are being sent to my contact list with my email account in the 'from' section, but the emails are not showing up in my sent folder.

I've changed my password, added 2 step verification, but am still getting messages from my contact list telling me that I have sent them spam.

Help!!

-Paul

Due to problems with my gmail account, i deleted the e-mail address and reinstalled it again.

It corrected the initial problem.

It now appears I have lost my entire outlook 365 contact list and address book.

Please tell me there is a way to get them back :O)

When I try to send an e-mail to a single person or a group of persons form my contact list, I get error code -50 (e-mail is not sent as result of not converted e-mailreceptant = rough translation).
When I double click on the name of the person, the e-mail adress appairs, but still it is not sending. Even when I try to manually type in the e-mailadress, it automatically takes the contact person from my Contact Persons list (which is aparantly not converted in the right way).

Who can help me to solve this?

Thanks in advance, Wendy
I upgraded to Windows 8.1 and lost the contact list for Windows Live (email program).  In trying to find the Contact list I searched for extension CSV and the search said no program found, BUT I had the old email list saved as a CSV on the hard drive.  What happened?
I used Microsoft Word to generate customized e-mails through Mail Merge using an Excel database.  When I Finish and Merge to Electronic document, Live Mail will send out the individual e-mails to people in my contact list, but will not send them to people not in the contact list.  I do not want to include there people in my contacts.  How do I get Live Mail to send these e-mails out?  In addition, Live Mail prompts me on each e-mail in my contact list.  Can I get rid of this prompt since I want all e-mails to be sent out?
We discovered today that spurious emails are being sent to people on my wife's email contact list. I contacted the Microsoft support desk and was led through a process to reset her account password because I was told that somebody had probably hacked into my wife's email by having her password. I'm dubious whether this will resolve the problem by itself. Is there anything else which should be done to avoid a recurrence of this issue? I am already carrying out a full system scan of our computers.

I use an iPhone and laptop to check emails through Outlook.  I recently went into my People list to find a contact and noticed I was missing their email address, but it kept their phone number.  I then checked other contacts and found they too had missing information.  All of my text messages on my phone started only being displayed as a phone number instead of being displayed as the contacts name.  When I went to find them on my contacts list in my phone, they were gone!  I merged my Hotmail/outlook contacts with my iphone a long time before this happened.  How can I retrieve my contacts data without having to manually enter it in?!  I don't even have enough contact info to even get in contact with some of the people on my lists because its all deleted!

Any advise, ideas....

My Outlook account received a message from someone I didn't even at to my contact list yet, and THEN asked if I wanted to add that contact.  Why. I thought there was supposed be an agreement to share emails or invite someone to your contact list first. What's changed? I sent screen shots to Microsoft and I hope Microsoft will address my concerns better than these forums. The questions just keep going around in circles and Windows keeps obsoleting everything the users rely on.
I imported my contact list to People using csv, however the ee-mail addresses did not transfer, can I fix this easily
