PLEASE HELP!  I have tried to search previous messages relating to my problem, but I am not very computer literate and the answers make no sense to me.  My email was working fine until Friday and now the message I get is:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Epix (judirpr) account. The connection to the server has failed.

Server: 'pop3.frontier.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 10060

can anyone tell me IN VERY SIMPLE TERMS what the problem is and how to fix it?  THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Hello, I am not very computer literate to begin with.  I need to delete and change some email addresses in my Windows Live Mail but I cannot find where the list is.  I have noticed at the bottom left hand side there is a list which states contacts but when I click on this there is just an empty screen.  Where can I find my list?

Thank you

I have been very disappointed with Windows 8 and now 8.1.  The Windows Photo Gallery opens with an ERROR message and that is it. It is non functional.  Microsoft has an obligation to make this product workable.  I need a fix that a non computer literate average 58 year old can use to fix this fiasco!  This Windows 8 and 8.1 have not worked well since I got this new computer.  How about a fix that I can do?
My Hotmail account is gone - is now Outlook. Can't see any of my contacts. What do I need to do? Am old and not computer literate - Hotmail was easy. If I have to change my email to Outlook.com will my contacts be able to reach me using the @hotmail.com address or do they have to be notified of an address change. This is very frustrating, especially not being able to see all of my contacts. Help?!
We run Windows 7 on our Dell computer and use Microsoft Windows Live.  I would like to be able to access my Live email from a remote computer, but do not know how.  The computer and the Live was set up for us by another person and we are not aware of any sign-ons or passwords to allow us remote access.  Sorry not very computer literate.
