I work in a long term care facility.  One of our residents wants to log on to her facebook.  She cannot remember the password to her facebook OR her HOTMAIL account.  We have tried twice now to reset using the form, using my business email as an alternate for the link to be sent.  Both times the reply has said that we did not provide enough information.  We provided what she could remember.  I physically called and spoke with someone, who walked me through the exact same steps giving me the exact same results.  I simply need a link sent to ME to help this resident have access to her accounts again.  Please help!
When Msn was changed, we lost the ability to switch from email to email.  Now we have to sign out and sign into the other email.  Is there any way to get that back?  I have all my personal and business email on here.  I have to switch back and forth throughout the day.

Thanks

Hello,

I am working to help my boss with recovering her email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** back.

She has submitted several forms with verifying information, but still cannot get her account unlocked.

There was some kind of issue and her account was locked.

We've been trying to have this resolved for weeks now, and not getting anywhere, much less live support.

Is there any way we can get help with this? MSN is important to her, but even more important is accessing her business email for her company here in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Please help us!

Recently, Outlook has removed the linked accounts feature, the one where you could log on to one email and be able to hop over to another with a simple click. You wouldn't need to log out and log back in or type in any passwords after the accounts were linked. I, like many others, received an email as a warning saying that Microsoft was removing that feature from Outlook. Being the busy person I was, I didn't have time to really prepare for something like this, so when my accounts were all unlinked, I couldn't remember the passwords for a couple email addresses that were rather important to me.

Allow me to shed some light on the background information. Skip ahead a few paragraphs to get to the question.

One of my emails, the one that I use for all my online payments, my bills, my 'whatever' email, was my very first email address, one I have been using for almost a decade. I made a couple other emails, one for business, another for a couple online stuff. The problem is, the password to my business email was very simple to remember, the one for a couple online stuff took a bit to remember, but my email that I use for all my bills, online payments, and everything else was the hardest.

Initially, when I tried to get back into that account, I didn't think right away to send a password reset to my business email, I instead went right for account recovery request, which was a very bad idea. When I said I've had this email for almost a decade, that means when I made the account I put in an address I don't live at anymore, I put in an age that was more than likely not my real age, and I set up a security question with a very vague answer.

I don't use this email for sending stuff, it's only for receiving, I don't have an xbox account, so I will not have received any emails about xbox live on it, I have no idea where it says I'm living at because I've moved almost four times since I made the email address. I have an idea of what the age I put on it might be, because when I made it I might have tried to set my age at a certain number for whatever reason.

The problem I need resolved is that when I tried contacting Microsoft to fix this, they responded with, and I'm paraphrasing, "we've gathered your information and we'll look it over". That's it, they just looked at it, they didn't respond with a resolution for my issue, they just said we're going to investigate this matter, and then the issue was closed. Is there any way that Microsoft can simply unlock my email for a period of time so that I can log in? During the time the account was locked due to "someone is trying to access your account" I was able to reset the password.

I just want to verify that I can not give up this email, I can not make a new one, I need this email more than anything. I will be lost without this email unlocked. I have set a new password for it, I know all the previous passwords for it, I'm almost sure I can pinpoint down to the month and year of when I made this email. I need this email address back.
Here is a screen shot of what happens when I open the Live Mail application.  This just started yesterday.  This seeming calendar error is keeping me from getting my emails.  I use this application for my business email on my laptop.  If I do not have email I can not do business.  Someone please help me.  Support on the phone is no help!  So frustrated.  Makes me want to get a Mac.

I tried to put the screen shot of the error but this stupid thing won't publish it when I submit it.  Here is what the error says:
"There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative."

My mailbox server has recently changed to an Outlook based (.live) platform and I have opened an additional business email using the same account as my personal name. Everything is fine if I use their website but I prefer to use MS Outlook as a work base and operate both my private and business (additional) email addresses through Outlook proper.

When sending from the business email address Outlook is "picking up" my personal salutation as a prefix to the actual email so that it appears to anyone receiving business mail from me that it is personal email in their inbox (and not from my business)

For example, currently I have FROM:  warren john <fishing*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>  where my clients appear to have an incoming email from "warren john" (the remainder of the address either dropping off or being deleted).

Would love to know how I fix this this so that my clients see in their inbox (from) *** Email address is removed for privacy *** so that they can identify me correctly.

I have searched through Outlook to the best of my ability and have not been able to find a fix that works. The contact card is all AOK (no "warren john" anywhere). Would appreciate any thoughts/ideas.

Cheers

My account was hacked, because I was getting spammed from another email. I clicked the "my friend was hacked" after numerous attempts to rested my password, this account is almost 10 years old, so I don't remember the specifics of details, but I can tell you, this is my business email, and I am incurring massive amounts of collateral damage, I can't wait 24 hours, and I have been on google the last 3 hours trying to find a phone number for REAL HELP. Please, please, please, treat this as if it were life and death, because it might be if I can't use my business email- this also damages the hotmail brand as well. I would rather we both save face here, I've been at this for the last several hours trying to get help, but I know it was the link I followed below:

Please, I beg of you, help me end this nightmare, I can't wait another 24 hours to MAYBE have a CHANCE at recovering this- I don't want to have to consult a legal team to have to "break into" my own account, thank you for your time.

-frustrated and regretful hotmail user
For about a week or so now, our email has not been working. Emails we are sending are not getting to their destination, and emails that other are sending to us are not making it as well. This is a business email so it is very important for this email to be working. Also, every time we send an attachment- it takes way too long to attach. We have had problems ever since hotmail switched over to outlook. Tried to look for a number to contact someone, and of course it can not be found. Can anyone help?

Thanks
