Hello,

Is there a fix so that e-mails that come in, always show all their attachments, instead of just the first file and "X more"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sean

I'm a new user of Windows 7. Since I've been using Windows Live Mail, I haven't been able to send e-mails that include attachments. Is there a setting that I need to change?

.eml attachments that I receive from one AOL user comes thru as .eml in a Notepad format. I use Windows 8.1 with the Windows Live Mail client. Email from all other senders is ok. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Thnx.

on the inbox e-mail list, Outlook for Mac shows a paperclip (like if message has attachments) for all e-mails containing signatures with embed images.
When I open the e-mail, the image is then display correctly as embed and no attachments are showed in the e-mail.

This make it impossible to filter by attachment in the search options.

I have been using outlook for windows and I never had this problem, it seems to be related only with outlook for Mac.

Can this be configured via settings or is a limitation on outlook for Mac ?

thanks

So I am trying to view/download some attachments my friend sent me via their Hotmail account and it is not showing up for me. Instead I get the following messages:

Your message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:
Miscellanious 096

Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments.  Check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled.

Now I have tried and searched everywhere I can to find out how to change my security settings to be able to view them but for the life of me it has not worked. Can anyone please explain step by step as to where I need to go and what I need to do to change it so I can get the stuff I need!

Thank you,

~Donald

One of my business associates has sent me 2 different emails with Excel attachments.  When she sends them from her they are just file attachments.  But when I receive them they tell me to "download as a zip file" and I cannot open like I have always done.  She did not send them as a zip file, she does not even use zip files.  Once I download it as a zip then it has compatibilities issues when I save it, telling me it may not be able to save it all. It never did before.  I work with these files every month and I had no trouble until a week or so ago.  Help, please.

Hello.

My account works fine except that I can NOT attach attachments to my outgoing emails.

Does someone know the reason or cause of this, PLEASE.

Many thanks,

Ross

For about a month now my Outlook account refuses to send attachments along with e-mails.  When I try a box immediately appears saying that Internet Explorer has closed down.  I tried getting this persistent fault fixed on the Net through Microsoft Help, but the process was so long and convoluted that I simply had to give up, especially when a long link I was sent refused to be copied, which was a necessity ahead of the recommended shutting down of Internet Explorer.

Please Microsoft allow many of us to once more send attachments.  Without that ability your e-mail service becomes all but useless.

Meanwhile, has anyone else a solution?

I am looking for help in opening email attachments.   For some reason i cannot get any attachments on my incoming emails to open.  When i click on them, a pop up box appears which has three choices: Open, Save, Save As; when i click any of these, basically nothing happens?  I can do the "view online" option, but this does not allow me to print, etc.

I had this occur a few months ago and was able to do something through the "tools" to fix it, but now i cannot seem to figure it out?

I am using Outlook for my email.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprciated!
