Original title: Window Live Mail

I am using Windows Live Mail on a new computer.  I have an AOL address.  How can I  set this up?

I've had my Outlook e-mail for about 6 months now and all of a sudden this week my mail from my old AOL account stopped showing up in my Outlook inbox. I haven't changed any settings on either account. I am receiving dozens of e-mails on my AOL account every day but they don't show up in my Outlook inbox.
The import function of Outlook.com  People function only appears to accept an import from and outlook, hotmail account.  How do I get my aol contacts over to Outlook.com?

I have an ongoing issue that is becoming a HUGE problem.

I have changed a customer of mine to Outlook.com from Aol.com. We had to export my list of contacts from Aol, and then we had to add a bunch more from another list.

We now have a master list that is in an excel spreadsheet. I have saved this spreadsheet as a .csv file. I import the file into Windows LIve Mail because the import function in Outlook.com does not properly bring the email addresses over. The import goes FINE with Windows Live Mail (2012), and then everything is great.

Not all contacts are duplicated by many many are not just once but 3, 4 times each.

After SEVEN days, I begin to get duplicate contacts.

I thought this was an anomaly, so I deleted all the contacts, and started over.

SEVEN days later, the contacts began to duplicate again. These duplicates show up on OUtlook.com, Windows Live Mail, and the ipad, and iphone.

There are NO open connections to any other accounts that I can fine, can you?

I won't be able to continue using Outlook.com unless this gets resolved. Is there any way someone can call a MS engineer in to this problem to help find out what is going on? We are syncing to an Ipad and an Iphone but we are CERTAIN that iCloud is NOT turned on for contact, email or calendar sync.

I have just tried manually deleting contacts, and minutes later they reappear!!!

Please get back to us soon, I am out of business with what I do with email until this gets resolved. Thanks.

I was unable to post this issue using my customers account so I am trying with mine. Every time I hit the submit button down below it would not post, no matter what browser I was using!

All of a sudden all my messages to AOL customers are bounced back.  How can I resolve this problem??

I've been trying to port over my AOL for a couple days now with no success. I have tried EVERYTHING.  AOL no longer has a forward email option, my POP3 settings are correct, but when I try to set it up, it pulls in about 10% of my inbox, but then doesn't update.  I get this error when I first try to set it up every time:

We're sorry, but there was a problem creating your account. We've tried to save your settings, but if you don't see your account on the set-up page, you may need to choose "Add an email account" and start over.

I have tried removing the account and re-adding it (multiple times) to no avail. I've tried messing with the POP3 settings, including removing SSL settings, and still nothing.  I've tried different browsers, cleared my cache/history, etc. Nothing.  I see no other answers in the forum with any other solution, so please help.

Thanks.
Just downloaded Office for Mac 2011. Goal is to create mail merge emails with Word. Need to connect my AOL account with Outlook and it's not working. Getting error message as follows: Outlook cannot find the server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in the Account Settings, and that your DNS settings in the Network pane of System Preferences are correct.

I've looked for info on what changes are needed, but can't find relevant information. Appreciate any help. Thanks. Wendy

I had YAHOO for many a year and then when they put their unproven next Version I sign up for it and it didn't work.  I contacted YAHOO and told them I wanted my old Version back, as they had done for me several times in the past, and I was told that once I go forward, I could NEVER go back to the old Version.  OK!   I accepted that, what else could I do!  I tried and tried to operate the new Version and it hardly ever worked for me.  I knew what I had to do with the new (bad) Version so it wasn't me at fault.  Meanwhile my incoming E-mail was stacking up.  I talk with YAHOO people as well as receiving E-mail from them.

Since YAHOO wasn't going to work for/with me I signed up with AOL and all was OK except YAHOO still tried to butt into my AOL.  They wouldn't let up.  It got so bad that I tossed my old PC and purchased a brand new PC that has Windows 8 in it from Office Depot.  Now I'm having trouble with Microsoft trying to butt in as mail carrier.  I need M/soft in my  PC but I SHOULD be able to use my own mail carrier.  I now have AOL as well as GMAIL and I don't need/want another carrier.

Can you help me reach that goal?
