What can I do to unblock my Microsoft Account

02. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account verification, customer support, Microsoft account, Update My Account Security

So it started when I went onto my Xbox and tried to sign-in to my Xbox Live, a message showed up saying i must Add Security or Update My Account Security. When i do this I get the 8015D000 Error message and tells me to try again later. I get onto my computer and i ATTEMPT to sign-in to my microsoft account, but suddenly receive a message saying, “Your Account is Temporarily Blocked.” It then tells me to contact customer support. Everything I've went to in order to access my account said only to Reset my Password or Submit a Account Verification form. I reset my password three times, Verified My Account info and even submitted four Verification Codes. (The code in which i receive through Email or SMS Text.)

Solutions I've tried:

- Reset Password

- Verification Code Submission

- Called Customer Support

- Submitted out an Account information Verification form

The Question I want answered is “HOW DO I GET MY MICROSOFT ACCOUNT UNBLOCKED?” Because ive looked everywhere for information, the microsoft support site, Youtube, and even with friends.

So if there is Anyone who may know what to do that i haven't already done feel free to tell me.

Windows Live Mail: cannot send bulk mail even after successful account verification

30. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account verification, Windows Live Mail
I am new to Windows Live Mail, and attempting to send a business flyer to my client email list. After the first failed attempt, I was prompted to verify my account in order to increase my daily sending limit. I proceeded to do so, and was informed by account.live.com that I was successfully verified. I again tried to send my email. I received the same prompt to verify my account. Confused, I followed the verification link again. I was taken to the "Thanks for Verifying Your Account" webpage that appeared after I had verified my account the first time....

I have since tried to re-verify the account, and re-send my email a hand full of times, and all have failed because of the "sending limit". It has now been over 48 hours since I verified the account, and I am still getting the same message about the daily sending limit and account verification.

Has anyone had a similar experience, or advice on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

My outlook account was hacked and my account verification form was rejected

My Outlook.com email account has been hacked.  My password has been changed, my recovery phone number has been changed, and my recovery alternate email address has been changed.  I am unable to provide much information in the account verification form because I had not started using the account yet - I can't remember whether I had sent an email yet, and I didn't make any changes to folders or contacts.

I know the previous alternative email address, and the previous password, but this was not enough to pass the automated verification system.

However, I know a couple more important pieces of information which the form does not allow me to provide:
  • I know the previous recovery phone number that was associated with the account
  • I can tell you the date and time when the hacker requested a password reset code - because I unexpectedly received this code on my phone - I can provide this code)
  • I know the exact date when I created the account

I am receiving someone else’s account verification code emails

I have already ignored several of these emails thinking they were some kind of phishing email, but now there have just been too many of them.  I would guess that this is one of two problems. Either #1, someone else mistakenly has my email address listed as their secondary email.  Or #2, Microsoft is sending the account verification email to the wrong account. If #1, wouldn't the secondary email address have to be confirmed before it could be added to an account?  If so, there is no way my email could have been added.  I'm leaning more towards #2, mostly because there have been several times in the last few months that I have been required to verify my account (to change settings, etc) and the email was never delivered to my secondary address.  How do I fix this? I feel bad for the real person trying to verify their account. I personally know how frustrating it is.

IP Address Log Request for Hotmail Account

I believe my Hotmail account has been hacked at least twice in the last few weeks.  I would like to obtain the IP address log for my account.  As suggested by similar requests I've seen posted on this forum, I have successfully completed the account verification process.  Please let me know what the next step should be.

why have i received two account verification codes?

When accessing my hotmail account the process was interrupted to ask me to get a code number. My telephone number was already there so I clicked to get the code sent by a phone call. I immediately got a call with a four digit number but as soon as I put the phone down I got another call with a second, different four digit number. I am hesitant to use either of these as I don't know if they are real or attempts at hacking. What should I do? Please answer in very simple terms as I'm not a computer expert and haven't understood most of what I've read about this subject on the forum.

Hotmail account hacked and account verification forms didn’t work- no longer able to submit new verification forms, NEED A NEXT STEP

08. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account verification, microsoft

My account was hacked and I've filled out multiple account verification forms and have reached the limit of how many I can submit. It tells me the best option is to create a new account, which is frankly the worst option. So, I've called Microsoft, asked for help, they directed me to this forum, I found ANOTHER account request form to fill out, Microsoft replied to that request by telling me to fill out an account verification form. Do you see the endless circle? I'm not going to give up on the 1500 emails I had stored in my account, over eight years of mail, including mail from my now deceased grandmother. I am willing to jump through whatever hoops are needed, but I just need to find one Microsoft employee who can help me out and not shunt me to the useless forms process.

Please help.

It looks like someone else might be using your account

06. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account verification, continuous loop, Microsoft account
Hi

My wife is tying so hard to get her email back but seems to be in some continuous loop.  For some random reason Outlook asked her to enter a password even though she has been using this account daily for around 5 years.  I am not sure if she entered an incorrect password or what but her account is now locked.  Every time we reset her password a message appears saying "it looks like someone else is using your account" and asks for a security code.  When we click on this link and request the code to be sent to the alternative email nothing happens.  We have checked any spam or junk in boxes but no luck the code is simply not there.

If we click through and try and fill in the on line verification form all that happens is I get and email saying

"We recently received a request to recover your Microsoft account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your ownership of this account using the information you provided. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of your personal information very seriously, and we are committed to protecting the personal information of customers. We have taken the additional step of blocking your account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** until we can verify you as the account owner. This will prevent any further use of the account, and protect you from any possible malicious activity.

Please submit a new account verification form"

If I try and fill it in again I just get the same message, I have tried to call and live chat but no one can help.

Does anyone know how my wife can unblock her account? She needs to access her emails.

Thanks

Ian

Microsoft account blocked

04. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account recovery, account verification, microsoft, Microsoft account
My son is unable to use Xbox live as his Microsoft account has been blocked under Code 8015D02E. The recovery email on the account no longer exists, so we tried the account recovery form. However, despite 3 attempts we could not provide enough info to verify ownership. He has no credit card, does not use his @live.co.uk email to send or get emails . Have tried @microsofthelps and @xboxsupport on twitter for assistance and they referred me here. Have submitted a Microsoft service request which ended up back at the account verification form again. I seem to be stuck in a loop. Can a password reset link not be sent to my alternate gmail or if I provide a number by SMS to me?

account verification unsuccessful

I recently bought a windows 8 and tried to use the skype installed in there. I was not able to open it no matter how i tried as they keep prompting me to verify my microsoft account. And there is a click here to send the email. I check everything and it is correct, my microsoft account is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and the alias account is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
When i received the email at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I click the link to verify the email.
They direct me to this page with the following words instead.

Incorrect email address The Microsoft account that you signed in with is not the email address that needs verification. To verify the correct email address, follow the instructions in your verification email message, and then sign in with the email address referenced in that message.
