I have had an xbox live account and gamertag for many years. I forgot the password for the account a long time ago, however, this was never a problem because i never needed to sign into the account to play. now there are security checks and seeing as how
i dont know my password for the account it renders my xbox useless to me. Also, the account email is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, which is for some reason also locked down and unavailable probably because the the domain is vitievsky. I need to get my email and password back,

I have setup a microsoft account for a new laptop with windows 8 on it.
I am however having issues getting a verification email going to my alias, that I wish to make the primary account email once it is verified.
No matter what I try the email to verify just does not end up in the my email so I cannot verify.
I can email this account myself, and so can other people, but I never get my verification email, and it is not in my junk folder either.
Is there anyway to verify an email address without this email? or a way to get someone to send me the verification email manually?

When I try to log into my account, it says "someone else is using your account" and gives me the option of sending a code to an old email address I no longer own. There is also a link that says "already have a code?" which I dont. The last option is
to submit my proof of identity form. I have done this many times and what they always send me is a link to the password reset page. I then have to fill out the password reset form again "though this one is formatted slightly differently" or have it sent
to the account email address. Lucky for me I am using an Gmail address for the account instead of hotmail or I'd be in an even longer loop. I then get an email that lets me reset my password. However after I change my password and before I get a chance
to update my security information, it gives me the dreaded "someone else is using your account" message again and I am back to square one.
My email address for the account isand the old backup email isnet. If someone could send me a code to enter, or manually change my alternate email to I should be ok. Please DO NOT PASTE THE RESET PASSWORD STEPS!!! I know them well at this point.

I've been having trouble remembering my password for my live account, and thus I've been changing it quite a few times. However, I used to have a backup email which I used a lot and it was completely accessible. However, my actual live account email was
made on the spot for Xbox LIVE and has never been accessible through any means.

Since I'd been changing my password a lot, it stopped sending emails to my backup email, the one which I could access, and started sending them to my live account email. Now, not only is this account not accessible, but I do not know the password for my
live account, so I cannot access it. I also, rather criminally, I suppose, do not know the answer to my security question either. So I decided I would fill out the reset form to the best of my ability, and see if that was successful. Apparently, due to my
account being @btinternet, not @live, Microsoft cannot help me.
Great. Not only have I been locked out of my account, and thus my LIVE, but I have no way of cancelling the billing, and so it will keep eating away at my money for LIVE.
All I ask is some way to get a reset link to my backup email, so I can change the password and fix this mess.

The error I get is "Your email address can contain only letters, numbers, periods (.), hyphens (-), and underscores (_). It can't contain special characters, accented letters, or letters outside the Latin alphabet."
Well my email address doesn't contain any of that as is was provided by the college I went to 5 years ago. The problem is that the account email address listed is invalid in sense that it dropped .edu at the end. I've called numerous times over the past 40 days and escalations always sends me to the same link that I can't complete.
I either need to have my password reset for me or I need to have my Xbox Live account linked to a different Microsoft Account.
