All emails dating back from before 8 June 2010 are not in my inbox anymore?!

Dear all,
 
I just found out all my emails dating back from before 8 June 2010 are not in my inbox anymore?! I have been using hotmail since 2002, so you could imagine I am missing a lot of (important) emails! 

PLEASE HELP / ADVISE
