After nearly a year and multiple threads on this one issue alone this thread was supposed to be escalated to an Engineer. A forum moderator replied who claims to be a support specialist replied. I can honestly say Microsoft has finally driven me away from PCs and into a Mac.  Some as basic as a font setting was designed to keep the user settings!!! If we're lucky some techy outside of Microsoft will create a work around but I'm not staying! A dedicated Hotmail user of over decade has finally been driven away! RonielD and his post:

I would like to inform you that this is by design as HTML formatting is being used.

This usually happens when you delete the entire paragraph resulting to deleting the tagging information at the beginning of that paragraph that defines the font and attributes of the paragraph.

 

Furthermore - if the you uses [CTRL+Enter] for line breaks instead of just using Enter; you will retain font information across line breaks when moving to new paragraphs.

I searched around but did not find a solution posted for this specific set of error codes. When outlook 2010 tries to sync with my live account which is associated with my windows phone 8 I am receiving this error. If I add a calendar entry on my phone it will appear in my live.com calendar but it is not making it back to outlook on my desktop.  Is there a solution for this? I am using a fairly recent version of outlook Hotmail connector.

Outlook Hotmail connector 64-bit (14.0.6123.5001). Any help is appreciated.

I suddenly am having problems with Windows Live e-mail and am receiving the following message. Server Error: 5102Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'Windows Live Mail

 

I have tried to install updates, and tried to use a "quick fix" all to no avail.  It apparently started yesterday.  I am still receiving e-mail from live.com on my cell phone but can not retrieve them on my laptop.  Any suggestions?   Thank you in advance for any help.

I can't switch from the local account to the microsoft account. It keeps saying "Sorry, we couldn't connect to Microsoft services right now."  I even changed my account but it still is giving the same feedback. There is nothing wrong with my network either. Heeeeeelllllp!!! I'm between a rock and a hard place.

I've been trying to deactivate my outlook.com account permanently. I've followed the instructions but the account doesn't appear closed? Every time I login to check I can still access the account? I have read all of the posts and have been unable to unlock my account.  I have been locked out for almost a month now trying to work with Microsoft to get it unlocked.  Hoping someone here can help me.  I am going to post all of the steps I have gone though.

They can only help with password/account recovery. Since I can log into my account and it tells me that it appears to have been compromised and is locked, I must go through you to UNLOCK it.

I have gone to the site mail.live.com 3 different times and have reset my password.  I can get in with the new password, but it tells me "It looks like someone else might be using your account. To help you—and only you—get back into ******** (email removed), we need to verify that it's yours"  I then have 2 choices: send me a code via text message or email.  If I choose text message the phone number is blocked, but the last 4 are my number.  I never get a text (I have done this 5-6 times).  If I choose send me a code via email, I get the following error message "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later."  I have been getting this error message the entire time I have been trying to get back into my account.  I have tried the page using Firefox and Internet Explorer, same error with both.

Clearly I am back in the same circle again as I have reset my password 3 times with no authentication confirmed and I have filled out the Step #6
form 3 different times and I never get a response back after the initial email that says I will hear back in 24 hours. All 3 times have been over
4 weeks total and I have not heard back.


I have done ALL of the steps they have asked. I tried chat today and they wanted me to do all the same steps again and even disconnected me as I was trying to ask another question.  . Please help me unlock my account as I have done all of the verification steps that they have asked so far.  I'm so sick or trying to get the account verified.
