I have never had a problem sending or receiving email in my Windows Live Hotmail account until today.  All of a sudden this afternoon it is saying:  Can't send your message

Your message wasn't send from your account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) because there's a daily message limit. To increast the limit, verify your account

 

I am not going to click on a link (verify your account) unless I know for a fact it is legitimate and not a phishing/scam/etc trying to get my password to hijack my email.   Has anybody else had this issue and how can I resolve it.  I can't have limitations on my email due to the foster program I am with.
