I bought a smartphone a year ago so that I could check emails when I am working. Unless this is just a problem today that will work itself out, I just discovered that when I downloaded emails to my android smartphone from my hotmail/outlook account, those emails did not download when I got home to replicated on my installed outlook account on my windows 7 laptop. I dont respond to emails from the smartphone but will get to them when I get home. I fired up my laptop to respond to an email that i saw on the smartphone and that email did not download to the laptop. None of the other emails that downloaded today to the smartphone showed up either. I checked the delete folder and they were not there. I then went online and checked out my outlook.com/hotmail account and all the emails were there. I clicked on the email that I was responding to and then went back to the inbox. I then clicked on outlook send/receive and the email showed up. I did that multiple times on other emails that had not replicated and they all showed up upon clicking send/receive I gather because they had changed status to read from unread. Now I am wondering if over the past year there were a lot of emails that havent shown up on my laptop due to downloading to my smartphone. If outlook.com is designed to only download to one machine and not any that ask to replicate this is a major problem. I cannot have a situation where anything that downloads to my smartphone wont show up on the laptop since I only respond to emails from the laptop. I am hoping that this isnt a problem and that the emails would show up later once the server and my laptop outlook can sync up better. If this is how it is going to be, then I cannot allow my smartphone to ever download emails from hotmail/outlook,
