Outlook 2011 for MAC does not display tasks at all. I create them, and they do get created and they sync with my iphone automatically through Exchange but they do not display in Outlook. They do however, display through my windows PC. Any ideas?
When I installed the Office for Mac 2011 software it all went well but I cannot create an e-mail account, the setup simply hangs when I click e-mail, however it does not do so when I click exchange, any thoughts?

I am having a lot of problems with Outlook since I installed it in January. I don't know why it keeps on deleting the account without me doing anything, one day it is working fine the next day it is all gone and I have to reinstall all the software. Then
it takes forever to sync all the folders specially the sent folders, although that might be because I have more than 50000.
After installing the software yesterday I noticed that when I sent a mail merge if wouldn't go to the outbox but stays in the drafts folder. It is the 1st time that this problem has happened. The other times when I installed it worked fine...do you have
any tips of why it is doing this now? and why it keeps deleting the account after 4 weeks? Also the last time I have to reinstalled ( a month ago) I deleted the cache of the sent items but all the mail I sent since it would not come up updated in the sent
items??

I have just replaced the SSD in my MBA and have used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the old to new SSD.
Now, Outlook wants me to enter my product key, which is stored in an offline folder in Outlook, see where I'm going with this? How can I retrieve the key?

I have categories set under my contacts. Specifically I have the contacts with this category so its the only one that syncs to my phone.
However, when I use my outlook for mac 2011 the emails from any contact with that category is showing up in the navigation pane with the text as the color I made for the category.
I dont want the emails to show the category at all. I dont want them to show up as that color, I just want the contacts that way.
Can this be changed without removing the category in my contacts?
It is the small things like this that keep me using the PC version..when I would like to switch completely.

I just did a clean install of OS 10.8.2 and installed Outlook 2011. It created a default contact with a name that's the same name as my Mac login username. I can't delete that default contact. Is there a way to designate a different contact as the "default"
contact so I can delete the one I don't want?
