In my calendar the same all day appointment is listen 15 times the same day – Please HELP! What’s happening?

There is a recurring appointment on my calendar I'm trying to delete.  I am not the organizer.  I'd like to delete the entire recurring appointment going forward.  (It's there weekly forever).  It seems like I can only delete each of these appointments individually which obviously doesn't get the job done.  Is there any way I can delete them all from this day forward in action?
Office for Mac 2011: Search in Outlook does not find anything in my inbox older than two days. The same result regardless of filtering (from, topic, etc.) Have even tried reinstalling the program: Then it worked the same day, but today the problem is back. Anyone?

Thanks in advance to anyone can help this is a problem that has plagued me for a while now to no avail.

I'm running a MacBook Pro Lion 10.7.5 with Office 2011 (Outlook) for Mac.

I have a large contact list as my account/identity is for a business. Being able to search the contacts list is very important and saves me a lot of time.

Unfortunately for some time now I have not been able to search the contacts on my Outlook at all.

It doesn't matter what I type, a contact first name, last name - the contact search yields zero results for anything. My contacts run at over 1000 - so clearly there is information there, but for whatever reason Outlook will not allow me to search the contacts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is a big ongoing logistical problem for me, please help!

very confused, in 10 years using Outlook for Mac I have never had a problem.

I have reinstalled the Microsoft update and I have deleted and reinstalled my 'me' Account. My 'me' account is working fine on my iCloud.

When doing a mail merge from Word (Mac version) Outlook 2011 sends each recipient two emails. There are no duplications in the contacts in Outlook and it isn't getting stalled by my ISP (I've disconnected from internet and the Draft folder shows two of everything). Any ideas?
How do I change the direction for viewing the next message in Outlook 2011's listing of messages? 

When I delete a message, Outlook automatically moves down to the next lower message in the list. Is there a way to change this so the next message that opens is above the one I've just deleted?
