Is it possible to move the emails along with the folders in which the emails are, from outlook 2011 to apple mail.
I was also hoping if I could get any solution for the transfer of calender entries and address book to ical and vcard respectively.
Thank you
my product key was used to download & open Wood, Power Point and Excel. But Outlook dose not recognize  my product key. WHY?

In Outlook for Windows I moved emails to PST folders so I did not exceed my server side capacity.  In Outlook for Mac I have imported my PST to the On My Computer area and can see all of the expected emails.

I am now trying to follow the same logic with the Mac version -> move emails from the Inbox to an "offline folder".  I can drag and drop to a folder On My Computer but instead of a move, it puts a copy in the On My Computer folder and keeps the original in the inbox.

I am guessing either I am not using the right key strokes, have not setup a move option correctly or the Mac version simply does not function in a similar manner to the Outlook for Windows version.  The Mac documentation is not very deep - looking to understand better how the Mac version of Outlook supports offline folders so I can keep my inbox (and online capacity) under control.

Thanks, Bob.

Is there a way to highlight all messages in a thread to move them in one-step to a folder?

I have a user who has several PST files 2GB and below and one that's 12GB in size. I've tried multiple times to import it. It runs through "successfully" but the ONLY folder that appears is the Deleted Items folder (and even that is incomplete when I compare it side-by-side on a PC). The PSt works absolutely fine on a PC.

I called MS support and after explaining the situation, the negineer put me on hold for a few minutes. When he came back, he siad that it is a known issue with '11 that any PST larger than 8GB will not import properly and they "are working on a fix." I find that hard to believe, given the suite has been out for over 2 years now.

Anyway, I couldn't find anything about this online, so thought I'd sahre my experience. large PST files are, unfortunately, becoming much more of the norm.

Hi,
Im using Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011- version 14.2.4. There is a requirement to copy the mail contents to excel file. Is there a solution to do this? Any help is appreciate.

Thanks,
Sudhir
I can't find how to have all emails sent saved on the main server.
My Outlook 2011 running under MacOS X 10.7 is constantly filling up the folders under Data Records -> Message Sources with what looks like the same message source files over and over again, at least once a minute. It keeps on as long as the Outlook application is running, day and night, and regardless of any real incoming e-mails.

One of the files is 7.5 MB and this one quickly fills up all available hard disk space. My Message Sources folder now contains a whopping 167GB...

Any ideas on how to stop this? Please help!

Best Regards,
Markus

I accidentally removed the “search this folder” in the basic search. Whenever I now select find I cannot enter text anymore.

Anyone know how I can restore this field?

I've changed my email account from a POP to an IMAP. If I delete the POP account, Outlook will delete all the emails associated with the account and I need to keep them, thanks!
