Hello! Recently installed Outlook and when trying to create the first account, once I open the tab "tool"_"account", immediately stop and does not let even to close the menú neither to open the account... Nothing happens!
I opened Ms Outlook for Mac 2011 and the programme was empty - my installed email account was no longer there and nor were any of the emails. Reinstalling the account makes it work (I can receive new emails) but non of the former emails are there. This
may have all happened after installing an upgrade.
Is this likely to be retrievable and if so what can I do to retrieve them?

I just upgraded from a 2011 MB Air to 2013 MB Air, using Superduper to migrate everything to the new mac. As usual, it went very well, producing an exact replica of previous system, files, etc. HOWEVER, I now get a brief (<1/4 second) "flicker" of any
screen or app in the front (unless it is in full screen mode, in which case it does not flicker). I tried some troubleshooting (know mac very well, user for 20 years), but could not resolve it.
I posted to the apple support forum, and in looking at Console, figured out the problem:

As was suggested, I pasted the following command in Terminal, which temporarily (until reboot) solves the problem: launchctl remove com.microsoft.SyncServicesAgent
What do I need to do to *permanently* fix this so it does happen after a reboot?... Thanks!
while trying to update, installer wants me to close Microsoft Daemon and syncServicesAgent. Can't find them using Finder. How can I close them?
When I type the mail address of my colleagues in "TO", my own name is emerging. How can I link their name to their mail address + unlink my name from their e-mail addresses?
I got a problem about MAC Outlook 2011, when user type the email address who are in their company, “Contacts and Recent Addresses” showing the sender email address with “work” which the user cannot remove. I try to remove the other address in his
contact “Me”, and rebuild database, but the problem still, please advice. THX
When I attach a photo to an email in Outlook for Mac 2011 the system does not give e the option that I used to have in outlook for WindowsXP, like high. medium, low. Can anyone point me to where this facility is please?
Just downloaded Office for Mac 2011, version 14.1.0. When I try to open Outlook, I get a dialog that says "This identity cannot be opened with this version of Outlook." After clicking the OK button, all goes away. I don't have a clue what this means, but
I'm not to pleased to purchase a program that offers no particular help.
So, where am I?

I've recently changed from a windows laptop to a mac book pro. in outlook 2010 it was standard, that for every e-mail account a separate inbox folder was created.
i've read some answers like 'it's default for pop accounts on a mac' . but i still don't understand it. in the standard mail software on the mac, imac, iPad and iPhone for every pop account there is a separate inbox created. so it's possible to have separate
inboxes for pop accounts on a mac.....
so..... is there some trick to create separate inboxes for different accounts in outlook 2011?
