Hi

I have an IMac running snow leopard and outlook 2011 for Mac.

Since Microsoft changed from Hotmail I cannot get my outlook  2011 to sync with my live account.

So I purchased an office 365 home premium account, still no luck.

If I use pop3 (which I thought went out with the ark) it does no bring back my folders only my Inbox.

If I use Microsoft outlook for a web browser, all works well.  All of my folders are there.

If I use outlook 2013 on a surface pro running windows 8.1 then all of my folders are there.

However, I notice that the connection is an "exchange active sync" whereas all my other accounts (office 365 E1) are exchange server accounts.

When I try and use outlook 2011 for Mac outlook goes into a loop re-directing me to HTTPS:// autodiscover.Hotmail.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml

And outlook never completes the connection.

Anybody any ideas ?

Thanks

Nigel

Hi

I've been online for 2 days trying to figure out this issue. I'm trying to manage the members of a exchange distribution list without having to go into the OWA. I was wondering if there's a way to do this off of outlook itself on the mac.

Many thanks in advance

Thomas

When opening Outlook get a list of error from replies from meeting request.

My inbox shows one unread message. When I search with the Unread Message Filter, no unread message shows up.

How do I turn off the 1 Unread Message?

Thanks
Hello all

I receive the message "The end of file was reached" in my client outlook 2011 for MAC with the version 14.3.6, in the other post, I saw that the solution is Create a new Identity.

But this solotion is for only for 1 or 2 days.

There is other solution for the client?

Please Help.

I would  greatly appreciate finding a permanent solution to the on-going issue of the time (latency - spinning color wheel) between the key stroke and seeing the word on screen. This constant problem is making  'Outlook' unusable.  I have no other issues with any other Office program - only Outlook. I was advised to change the user profile to a new one, this was effective for several months but has slowly slipped back to now seeing the spinning wheel between whole sentences between typing and seeing the words on screen. I have changed my habits and switched to Thunderbird, not happy about being forced to move my email program because of this problem. Please assist. Thank you.
Hello,
I have multiple mac's (MacPro's, MacBookPro's, MacMini's) all running the latest version of Office 2011 ver14.3.6.

I have 1 mac -  that when Outlook is open our 6mb down and 1mb up connection is completely brought to a crawl.

A simple ping to 4.2.2.2 runs 8ms-9ms consistently.  When Outlook is opened on the one mac - it ramps up (in 4-7pings) to 400ms-900ms.

All the Outlook clients here are connecting to Office365 Exchange accounts.

Even stranger - if I open any of the menu's (top menu bar) the pings instantly return to the normal 8-9ms. Once I click the focus off (back to Outlook) they return almost instantly.

I have completely deleted Office, per the MS KB 2398768.  I then performed a clean install and all updates.  This did not resolve the issue.

Thank you in advance!
