Microsoft prompted me to upgrade Microsoft Office. When I said OK (and I have been doing this quite regularly), the upgrade process aborted with the message :

"MS Outlook cannot load MS Office shared libraries. The files may have been moved from their original locations. Try the following:

  • Move Outlook back to the MS Office folder
  • Re-install Outlook to insure that all files are correctly installed.

We have reinstalled the outlook ,but still we are not able to find the mails.

Version 14.3.6:  What is Error code 108 and how do I fix this? I can see the e-mails on my webmail account but they won't download because of this message. Does it have to do with the size of my Outlook pst file?
I have a user that has attached 5 files one .pdf couple of .docx one .doc and one .xlsx
Domain environment with exchange 2010
Files are sent from microsoft windows office 2010 win7 machine.
The files show up on win7 microsoft outlook 2010 fine no problems
When sent to a macbook pro with Office for mac 2011 Outlook for mac it shows up with a .dat file attached and no office files.

I have a MacBook so I suggested that the user send it to my email and I would check out the problem on mine and troubleshoot it from there!
I was expecting to see the .dat file so I could trouble shoot it but to my surprise the office attachments were there same mac OS same  office for mac

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

my inbox tells me endlessly that--as part of the syncing process--it is downloading twenty attachments--but each time it claims to have completed the process it starts again...any idea how to resolve this please?
every body thta see this would you pleases mail me   f wtfw
Outlook gives me problems EVERYDAY always asking me to re-enter my passwords and now it decided to stop sending my emails. The LiveChat lady kept directing me to posts that were irrelevant to the issues I'm experiencing. Can someone actually help me?
Every time I try to send an e-mail, I get a message that "they've noticed some unusual activity on my account."  I've reset everything, and it's still happening.  This has been going on for a day.

HELP!
Are there any direct solutions available to migrate the emails from Mc outlook to Windows outlook.
Its a pain using the indirect methods, the steps keep messing up all the time and some time the content migrated is corrupted or incomplete.

Please help.
Hi all,

  I am new to this forums, I am running into a strange issue with outlook 2011. I will give the details of what we use etc. We use exchange 2007 server. Client is using outlook 2011 with the most recent updates (14.3.6). Whenever she gets a meeting invite from an external organization, and when she accepts it with response / without response, it throws her an error -50 Mail could not be sent and the meeting response moves to outbox. For now we have asked her to accept any meetings outside our organization to accept via her phone.
I am trying to reproduce the same error but its only her outlook which is giving issues. Please advise.

Thanks,
Regards,

I have about dozen email accounts in Outlook for Mac (Office for Mac 2011). All them use POP, but I'm planning to switch three of my most widely used accounts to IMAP. To better understand how IMAP works in Outlook, I created a 'testIMAP' account at my ISP and configured it in Outlook. I noticed a change in the hierarchy of folders.

It went from:
On My Computer
 -> Inbox
 -> other folders (that received filter POP email)

To this:
Inbox
 -> On My Computer
    -> other folders (that received filter POP email)
 -> testIMAP
    -> Drafts, Junk, Sent, and Junk (subfolders of testIMAP)

I also discovered that empty copies On My Computer and testIMAP folders were in the Deleted Items folder. I'm not sure what's going on.

What's really unusual to me, is that incoming testIMAP email goes into two folders: Inbox and testIMAP.
And POP email that doesn't have a specific filter, now goes into two folders: Inbox and On My Computer.
Cluttering the Inbox with so much duplicated email seems problematic. Is there anyway to prevent this?

Thanks,
Chuck
