I have a user that keeps having issues finding her contacts. She will add them (example First Name Jane Last Name not hyphenated Doe Smith) to her contacts in her phone. The contact WILL sync to her Outlook. However In Outlook under find a contact a contact
she will type Smith and it will not find the contact. I have verified and tried different settings for search all fields and all folders. I have verified all boxes are checked under my contacts.
When she clicks on contacts then types Smith in the search this folder field the contact comes up.
I'm wondering what the difference is in functionality is between the 2 methods. It seems like it should be the same. You should be able to type part of any field in find a contact and the contact should come up especially in the example given.
I have verified this works properly in webmail so this is definitely something with the Outlook for mac client.
I have updated her to the latest updates today. I also rebuilt her database as well.
I have also duplicated the issue on my computer as well
My Outlook 2011 for MAC is not syncing with Godaddy's SENT ITEMS folder. When I click on the Outlook SENT ITEMS folder, it disappears and Outlook crashes. The SENT ITEMS folder has also disappeared from the Folder Browser list of folders for the
Godaddy account. Can somebody help please?
I have many unsuccessful attemts at migrating or we can say converting the emails of Outlook 2011, running in my mac book pro, to apple mail which has .mbox file format. I need some effective solution to transfer all my data like emails along with their
specific mail boxes, calender entried and address book to apple mail, ical and address book.

I cannot figure out to create personal folders for outlook on my Mac. Under the "File" folder, the New is greyed out so I cannot access it
I have multiple accounts coming into Outlook 2011 on my Mac. On some of those accounts it is not practical to deselect the "Leave a copy of each message on the server" option under Advanced in the Accounts window. When those accounts download mail, often
there are 4 or 5 (or more) messages that I would like to delete from the server, while leaving several others on the server to be received later on a different machine.
Is there a way to select multiple messages and then have them deleted from the server without having to to each message individually?

Help! For some reason Outlook upon opening begins to receive as new e-mails all e-mails that were left on the server resulting in tremendous duplication.
Using Outlook 2011 for Mac, is it possible to change the colour of quoted text in a reply email, and to set that colour as a default?
My outlook continues to try and send 7 emails over and over again. I have no idea what these emails are, they aren't in my outbox, and I cannot figure out how to delete whatever files its trying to send. I believe they were files that were too large at
some point and I can pull up the diagnostic box that says email too large cannot send, but I cannot figure out how to delete those message from wherever they are being stored.

I am using Outlook for Mac 2011. Everything was fine until yesterday. Now after starting up and syncing with Exchange Server I get a crash.
Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?
