Hello,

Suddenly and for no apparent reason I am not able to add appointments and meetings to my Outlook Calendar, and every entry I've ever made has disappeared. Why? Any help greatly appreciated!

I would like to migrate my Archive Email from Microsoft Outlook 2011 for MAC to Microsoft Outlook 2010 for Windows. Is there any tool available so that mails are converted to PST without any loss. I have gone through some excessive, which end up with result that some of the mails are corrupted. Hence, I do not want to loose single email and want to migrate to Outlook 2010 for Windows from MAC.

We have a number of users who are now running Microsoft Office 2011.  It was working fine until 10-1-2013.  The accounts show connected.  The progress shows that it is downloading the messages.  But no messages appear.  The folder structure shows correctly, but no emails in any folders.   We are able to connect using Entourage and it works fine, but would prefer Outlook.  Thank you for any help you can provide .
I'm using Outlook for Mac 2011 (version 14.3.8) and I recently upgraded to OSX 10.9 (Mavericks). Since then, Outlook has started changing ' to 1 after I send an email using plain text. How do I fix this?

I have several users that a working on Macs in a corporate Windows Environment (Exchange Server) all running the latest version of Office Outlook 2011. Some of the Administrative Assistants have been having issues while trying to manage their Bosses shared calendars. Randomly all the color / categories will disappear from the Bosses calendar for both the boss and the assistant. For example all the Travel events will be coded to Red but every couple of weeks the colors are all reset to one default color.

Is there a work around or a setting that will keep this from happening? Is it something that the users are doing that causes all of the colors to be erased? I can’t seem to find anything online that speaks to this issue and this is causing End User and IT Support friction but I am not really sure how to resolve it since I can’t even narrow down the cause.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,

i am encountering this problem for a few weeks now with office 2011 for Mac. There is an error code: 17099: no local port.  I am not sure what this means. I had about 190 contacts in this group. I split them up into 2 groups, 1 has 100 addresses and the other has 90 addresses. Now the 100 recipient list sends out without a problem, but the 90 contact list shows up as an error. I contacted my ISP they said i have a limit of 400. I deleted the account off outlook and reset the account but i am still noticing the same error. I am not sure what the root of this problem is, if anyone could help, that would be great. Thank you!
Hello,

I'm reporting this error:

In calendar, I visualize appointments by List.
Then i choose delete an item, after a popup is issued to ask if really want to delete, by choosing Cancel or Delete... but before i make my choice, the item is already deleted !!!

This is outrageous !

Did any one go this behavior?

Regards.
I'm using the latest version of Outlook 2011 for Mac 14.3.8 on a new Macbook Pro (Mavericks), but Outlook crashes, requiring a force close each time as it finishes the sync.

I'm syncing with Googlemail via IMAP and have about 40,000 emails in my Google account. This worked fine on a PC, using Google Apps Sync, which isn't available on a Mac.

All 40,000 emails seemed to synch OK, and the sync appears to finish or almost finish (just 20 or so left sometimes), but then Outlook just crashes (multi-coloured pinwheel of death) requiring a forced close. When you run it again, it tries to synch again and then crashes again.

Is there a limit to the number of emails you can sync through IMAP? Or is this another problem?

Please help.

Many thanks & regards
Bill
I asked this question before but didn't get answers that helped, so I'm trying again. Reminders doesn't pop up on my desktop ever, not when a planned event is nearing or even when I boot up. Sometimes it doesn't even register events I've entered in the Calendar. I am literally missing or almost missing appointments because of this. I downloaded Office 2011 in July 2013, so I'm past MS's miserably short warranty period, but Reminders has never worked properly from the get-go. Didn't do anything about it because life was getting in the way, and now it's too late. I have OS X 10.6.8, the OS and Office are always fully updated. As far as I know, Reminders is the only function that doesn't work right, and if it doesn't work it's pretty much useless.
Hello:

I don't know if I'll b able to describe this properly but I had a question about the behavor of Outlook for the Mac when deleting emails from the main viewing window..  I had a customer tell me that when you deleted an email in entourage the position of the new selected email after the delete would be the email above the deleted item.  In Outlook it goes to the email below the position of the deleted email.  I searched high and low and can not find any setting to change that.  Is it even possible to change the direction that the "cursor " goes to after you delete an item?  I know it's picky but this came up as a question I need to get an answer for.

Thanks in advance,
Rick
